The MCU has produced a lot of TV shows over the years, and while it was all fun at the start, fans quickly grew tired of senseless cameos and set-ups that go nowhere. However, some of the latest TV series, like Daredevil: Born Again, have truly surprised the fandom with a more grounded approach. And well, it seems like Wonder Man is cooking up the same formula by giving fans a simple yet entertaining story. The safety of the world is not at stake in Wonder Man, and there are no out-of-this-world battles.

Wonder Man is simply a story about two struggling actors, Simon Williams and Trevor Slattery, trying to get roles in the remake of a legendary superhero film. There are superpowers involved, but instead of outlandish CGI and unnecessary action, it seems the strength of Wonder Man is its story. It's no wonder that the upcoming series is Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, with an incredible rating of 93%. Of course, the ratings might change after the show's release, but we can say that it is a great start. All that remains is for fans to see for themselves if Wonder Man will actually hold up to everyone's expectations.
