Wordle is back today with yet another five-letter word puzzle for fans to try. While today's Wordle isn't as challenging as some previous answers, some players may still want a little help with the rules, strategies for winning Wordle, or the full spoiler for the puzzle.

How To Play Wordle

For anyone new to Wordle, they may not know that this little daily game went massively viral in early 2022. When it got popular, a whole bunch of copycats and clones of the game appeared all over the internet. This article is about the original version, which was purchased by the New York Times in 2022. Other versions of Wordle will have different answers than the one listed here, and many even have different rules too. The only two places to find the original are the newspaper's Games website and the New York Times Crossword and Wordle app.

To get started playing, word puzzle fans will need to figure out a starting word. The best starting words follow all of the rules of Wordle as well as a few basic strategies. In order to have a great start with the Wordle today, players should:

Choose a five-letter, real English word to start.
Avoid plural nouns ending in S and previous answers, as these cannot be answers.
Avoid offensive words and proper nouns, as these cannot be used as guesses and cannot be answers.
Choose a word with five different letters in it.
Choose a word with at least two vowels; players should focus on words with three if possible.
Pick a word with common letters to Wordle puzzles in them, like L or S.

Once a good starter is chosen, players need to put it into the Wordle website or app. After they press enter, they'll see the letters of the word change colors.

If a letter turns green, it is correct.
If a letter turn gray, it is incorrect.
Letters that turn yellow are right but in the wrong position in the word.

Given these clues, players have a total of six tries to keep guessing and getting new hints from the colors of the words. There is only one puzzle per day for everyone, so players should make sure to use the spoiler-free share button on the menu to keep from spoiling the Wordle word for anyone else.
