World of Warcraft is adding some new customizations for Night Elf and Forsaken characters very soon. These new options will be included as a part of World of Warcraft Patch 10.1.7, Fury Incarnate.

The next content update for World of Warcraft, Patch 10.1.7, is currently available for testing on the WoW PTR. There, players can get a first look at some of the public activities, gameplay features, and customization options World of Warcraft is adding in the new patch.

Night Elf and Forsaken characters are two of the main player races getting some love in this particular World of Warcraft patch. Night Elves are getting a revamp to their tattoo and face markings. Females can choose from several new body tattoo options, and males will have their face and body tattoos separated so players can mix and match them. Male Night Elves should also be able to change the colors of their tattoos, and both body types are receiving at least one new tattoo design that swirls around the top and side of their eye.

Forsaken, on the other hand, are receiving five new skin tones for male and female models. These colors range from muddy browns and dark grays and greens to shades of ashen and pale white. Both character models currently have the same additional options. These murky shades look fantastic, and will pair especially well with World of Warcraft's new Forsaken Heritage Armor.

World of Warcraft players are almost always happy to receive new character customization options. Getting the chance to make their characters more unique is always welcome, and the fact players can change their look for free at any barber shop makes it even better.

That said, players still have a wishlist of options World of Warcraft hasn’t added for these races yet. Night Elf fans would love to get Night Warrior-style tattoos or the option to make their eyes more like their Nightbourne cousins, and Forsaken players want options for facial hair, black hairstyles and skin tones, and a toggle for an upright posture like Orcs have. Luckily, adding more customization options is a constant, if slow, process. As long as the audience wants more, WoW will likely continue to build upon its ever-growing options. With World of Warcraft now letting Draenei use Man’ari Eredar customizations, anything is possible, so hopefully all players can eventually have the options of their dreams become a reality.
