World of Warcraft has officially revealed a new set of rewards for its 12-month subscription offer, which includes the Astral Aurochs and Grandiose Grrloc mounts for modern WoW, and the Sha-scarred Drake for Classic. Players who purchase a 12-month recurring subscription to World of Warcraft, or who are already on one, will receive these rewards and more without any additional purchases.
Since November 2022, World of Warcraft has offered special rewards for fans who are on yearly subscriptions to the MMO. These incentives usually include bonus mounts for both modern and Classic WoW, such as the Startouched Furline revealed in October 2024.

World of Warcraft players are going to be in for a shock when they enter some of the raids and dungeons coming in the Midnight expansion.
12-Month WoW Subscription Offer For 2025–2026
Now, the time has come for World of Warcraft to rotate the year-long subscription offer once more. Players who purchase a 12-month recurring subscription deal will now score three new mounts: The Astral Aurochs and Grandiose Grrloc for modern WoW, and the Sha-scarred Drake for Mists of Pandaria Classic. Fans who are already on such a subscription offer will also receive these rewards automatically, though they may need to claim them from the Battle.net app’s Gifts section.

Were these new collectibles not enough, players on a recurring 12-month subscription will also automatically earn the 6-month World of Warcraft subscription items. Right now, that includes the Herald of Sa’bak mount for modern World of Warcraft and the Sa’bak’s Favored pet for Classic, but in January and July of next year, fans will automatically earn the 6-month rewards for 2026 as well.
While it is too soon to say what the July rewards will be, World of Warcraft shared a silhouette for the next 6-month subscription offer items for January. This cycle is usually inspired by the Lunar New Year Zodiac and element, like WoW's Timbered Sky Snake for 2025, and this teased image matches 2026’s Year of the Fire Horse perfectly. Gamers will have to wait until next year to see what the new modern WoW mount and matching Classic pet will look like.
The 12-month subscription offer for World of Warcraft is the option with the greatest value. Not only do players save $2 a month on their game time – a total of $24 a year – but they get to add a bunch of stunning mounts and pets to their collections, too. With World of Warcraft: Midnight releasing in 2026, fans who are already planning on playing the MMO for the next year should strongly consider taking this offer if they have the money to do so.
