Battle for Azeroth Timewalking is coming to World of Warcraft in Patch 11.1.7, bringing with it some stellar rewards, including missing transmogs and mounts like the Kul Tiran trenchcoats, the Dark Ranger and Sylvanas bows, and the Moonlit Nightsaber. These items and more will be available to purchase with Timewarped Badges once Battle for Azeroth Timewalking arrives in the Turbulent Timeways event during the next World of Warcraft update.
Timewalking is a periodic, week-long event where fans enter dungeons from old expansions to level up, collect gear, and earn Timewarped Badges, which are exchanged for rewards like mounts, toys, gear, and reputation. With the addition of Classic Timewalking during World of Warcraft’s 20th anniversary, every time period from the first 14 years of the game’s lifespan has its own Timewalking event.
World of Warcraft Adding a New Way to Level Up in Patch 11.1.7
World of Warcraft is adding a brand new feature in Patch 11.1.7, Legacy of Arathor, that players can use to level, all while earning unique rewards.
Now, nearly seven years after it first launched, Battle for Azeroth is getting the Timewalking treatment – and several previously unobtainable items are coming to its vendors. Though the full inventory has not been revealed yet, players on the Public Test Realm, including WoW fan Saphras, have discovered several Kul Tiras trenchcoats, which are seemingly bought from the new Timewalking Vendor. Originally only used by Human and Kul Tiran NPCs, these two coats can be worn by any race and are believed to be only half of the colors that will eventually be implemented. What’s more, Wowhead contributor Portergauge found the bows used by World of Warcraft's iconic Banshee Queen Sylvanas Windrunner and her Dark Rangers are also expected to be purchased from the vendor as well.
WoW: Battle for Azeroth Timewalking Rewards
According to WoW content creator MrGM, the Moonlit Nightsaber and Ivory Savagemane mounts will also be found at these vendors, finally giving fans access to the white versions of these popular mounts after many years. What’s more, the Chrono Corsair Infinite Dragon pirate mount will be earned via the third Turbulent Timeways event in World of Warcraft, which heralds the arrival of the new Timewalking expansion.
Six dungeons will be available during BFA Timewalking: Atal’Dazar, Freehold, King’s Rest, Shrine of the Storm, Temple of Sethraliss, and Waycrest Manor. The event won’t launch with a Timewalking Raid, but hopefully, the Battle of Dazar’Alor, Eternal Palace, or Ny’alotha will retroactively be added sometime in the future.
