Thanks to Transmogrification and World of Warcraft players can now transfer the stats of powerful gear to better-looking but weaker counterparts, allowing players to wear their favorite armor sets without compromising their character’s overall performance. Since the feature's introduction in Cataclysm, Classes such as the Warrior have received multiple Transmog options in the acclaimed MMO's other expansions.

However, while the Warrior has access to a lot of gear that could make them look like hulking behemoths, specific Transmog options in World of Warcraft stand out when creating the image of the perfect combatant. Which of the Warrior’s Transmog sets are must-haves for Class fans?

True to its name, the Wyrmforged Battlegear for the Warrior is a testament to the existence of Dragonflights in Azeroth. The Class is adorned with dragon-themed gear, outfitting them as dragon-riders ready to come to the world’s defense. The armor’s strong blue color is a vibrant shake-up compared to the more medieval-esque coloration of other armor sets. Design-wise, the Wyrmforged Battlegear carries a Warrior-worthy aesthetic geared towards battle-ready simplicity.

Immediately noticeable is the inclusion of dragon-scale waist guards. There’s also the lack of a long-sleeved undergarment, instead showing the bare lower bicep, elbow, and fingers. The leggings seem to be cloth with wrap-around shin guards, with plate bracers covering another set of arm wrappings. The main chest piece seems to have overlapping plates, with intricate shoulder guards and dragon horns that glow molten-red. The helm resembles a dragon’s maw.

15 Truesteel Battleplate (Recolor)

Give The Warrior A Sci-Fi Look

The Truesteel Battleplate (Recolor) proves that players don’t need to complicate their armor to make their Warriors of World of Warcraft look interesting. Despite being lower-tier Level 42 armor, wearing the base three components of this armor will give players quite a sleek under-armor appearance. Save for black underpants, the rest of the gear implies a smooth transition from breastplate to arm pads to greaves. The armor set’s defining feature is its great helm, particularly the set of glowing eyes.

Perhaps what ultimately sets the armor apart from other traditional Warrior gear would be its molding green-gold coloration and sickly green energies emanating from the armor’s openings.

A Traditional Tyrannical Look To The Warrior

The Destroyer Armor that Warriors in the MMO can acquire as a Tier 5 Raid Set in their World of Warcraft experience can develop quite a unique aesthetic for them. Despite its nature as a full plate, it lacks the characteristic bulkiness of traditional Warrior armor from Warcraft. Instead, Warriors get inline scale mail topped with flame-esque shin plates and gauntlets. The breastplate is made flatter with the wing-like pauldrons and the small skull buckle on the rather large waistguard.

Perhaps the most unique part of the Destroyer Armor’s overall aesthetic is the horned helmet, particularly the large unsettling eyes that glare a harsh yellow much like the top of its shoulder plates. This gives the Destroyer Armor quite a tyrannical look, establishing the Warrior as a fiercer counterpart to the Paladin.

Add A Sickly Death Glow To The Warrior

While all of its components can be found as loot in Krokuun and the Antoran Wastes, the World-Defiler’s Plate is not a true set with its lack of bonuses but rather a collectable set in terms of appearance. Its nature as armor found in the Burning Legion’s domain means its overall aesthetic resembles gear worn by demons that players slay.

This is true to its dull grey appearance with sickly green tones, giving Warriors a definitively “evil” vibe that doesn’t immediately cross over Death Knight territory. The armor is characterized by a reliance on bold armor pieces with the occasional curved and spiked over-armor. These are often topped with green gems or lined with green energy, especially the helm with horns that trail with infernal energies like they are vents. In turn, this approach to aesthetics gives Warriors a much-needed “evil warlord” makeover without the excessive details.

11 Earthen Battleplate

Transform Warriors Into Crystalline Defenders

Unlike holy Paladins and edgier Death Knights, the Warrior of World of Warcraft gets a bad rep as the rather straightforward “bruiser” among the Classes. This is made worse by their lack of thematic armor that doesn’t just become the “default plate look” shared with the other tanking Classes. Fans tired of such a stereotype could use the Earthen Battleplate to give their Warriors a change of pace. This Tier 11 Raid Set is characterized by its reliance on crystals, a theme that other Classes don’t necessarily rely on.

The overall armor seems to have an inner chainmail with a set of clasped plates for outer armor, with metal clips and bolts holding everything together. Scattered around the armor are holes that make way for crystals, with large crystals from the pauldron and the face area seemingly made to appear as though they exploded from the inside. This look can give Warriors a much-needed makeover, giving them the appearance of a truly “rugged” Class without sacrificing aesthetic quality.

10 Juggernaut Battlegear

An Ancient Battle-Worn Look

Denizens of Azeroth who wish to put an end to Sargeras’s Burning Legion had to sever the Fallen Titan’s connection to the world-soul of Argus. Players tasked to do so must venture into Antorus, the Burning Throne, and defeat the very avatar of the world-soul. Doing so in Mythic Difficulty can unlock the Juggernaut Battlegear, a testament to the ancient powers of the Titans.

Among the variants of the Juggernaut Battlegear, its Mythic Variant has the most battle-worn appearance. The most noticeable aspect of the Battlegear is its glowing orange details, present in the slits of the set’s barbute helm and tracing the outline of the swords detailed on its shoulder plates. Much of the armor has spikes, and its rusted iron color scheme denotes ages’ worth of unuse.
