It's a warm and fuzzy time in World of Warcraft when everyone feels less like war and more like chocolate and roses. In the spirit of the holiday, there's a list of unique meta-Achievements and a title that players can get only during this time, The Love Fool.
There are 12 meta-Achievements required to become one of many love fools wandering in the World of Warcraft. Some are easy and only require the cost of a few Love Tokens to buy the required materials from the seasonal Lovely Vendor. Others are more difficult and might require the help of a group and at least one other player.
It's not just for the fun and games of an event that contradicts everything that the main story is supposed to be about, but also to complete one of the most difficult Achievements, What A Long Strange Trip It's Been. This is one of the most difficult Achievements and is famous for taking almost a year to complete. The reward is one of the rarest flying mounts available, the Violet Proto-Drake.
Be Mine!
One of the easiest Achievements to complete, this one only requires that the player eat eight delicious candies. Buy the Bag of Heart Candies from any Lovely Vendor for 2 Love Tokens, and use the bag to create 10 candies with a variety of the following slogans etched on each one.
- I'm all yours!
- You're mine!
- Hot lips.
- You're the best!
- All yours.
- I LOVE YOU
- I'll follow you around Azeroth.
- Be mine!
Although the requirement is for eight, and each bag contains ten, there are frequently doubles and this will probably take more than one bag to finish. These are soulbound once created, so they can't be traded with other players.
Charming
Complete this Achievement by making 12 Lovely Charm Bracelets. These are required for the daily quest that players can get from Kwee Q. Peddlefeet to give a handmade present to the local city leader, and another Achievement, Nation of Adoration.
Charm Bracelets can only be made using 10 Lovely Charms These drop from any enemy that shows as green or higher provided the player lands the killing blow and has a Lovely Charm Collector's Kit in their inventory. They aren't soulbound, so players can trade or purchase them.
Nation of Adoration
Bring a Lovely Charm Bracelet to each Faction Leader. Players only have to visit the leaders of their own faction, so this requires four Lovely Charm Bracelets to complete.
Visit the flitting goblin-like cherub, Kwee Q. Peddlefeet, who's always next to the seasonal vendor and quest giver in each city. Kwee has a daily quest, and the exact title depends on what city the player happens to be visiting. In Thunder Bluff, for example, the quest is called A Gift for the High Chieftain.
The first time the player visits all four faction leaders they'll complete this Achievement. After that, the quest becomes a daily one that rewards a Lovely Card and 5 Love Tokens.
Dangerous Love
Players have to finish the chain of introductory quests that tell the story of the holiday to get this Achievement.
The chain starts in each faction's capital city and consists of nine quests in total. Completing these opens the daily quest for the seasonal boss, Apothecary Hummel.
- Uncommon Scents. Find Detective Snap Snagglebolt in Orgrimmar or Inspector Snip Snagglebolt in Stormwind.
- Something Stinks. Use Snagglebolt's Air Analyzer on 6 heavily-perfumed guards.
- Pilfering Perfume. Use the Courier Disguise to steal a shipment of perfume samples.
- Snivel's Sweetheart or Fireworks At The Gilded Rose. Track down Snivel Rustrocket by visiting his lady friends Roka in Orgrimmar or Marion in Stormwind.
- Hot On The Trail. Snivel is gone! Search the bank, the Auction House, and the barber shop to find him.
- A Friendly Chat... Snivel might be trying to skip town. Go to either the harbor or zeppelin tower to find him and get Snivel's Ledger.
- Man on the Inside. The ledger leads to Shadowfang Keep and Investigator Fezzan Brasstacks.
- You've Been Served. Fezzan gives the player a Standard Apothecary Serving Kit, which contains Court Subpoena and consumes needed for the boss fight.
- Something is in the Air (and it Ain't Love). The player can fight Apothecary Hummel as a daily quest, but the first time he dies, he drops a Faded Lovely Greeting Card. Return this to the contact in Orgrimmar or Stormwind to complete the Achievement.
My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose
A few special pieces of gear drop from bosses during the holiday, and some of them are raid-level items but others are purely cosmetic. The Bouquet of Red Roses or Bouquet of Ebon Roses is held in the character's offhand and its only use, other than customizing your character, is to shower the target with rose petals.

Even though this can be used to shower the target with rose petals, it can't be used to finish the Achievement Fistful of Love. Players need to buy a different item from the Lovely Vendor to finish this Achievement.
Fistful of Love
This quest requires the player to throw a Handful of Rose Petals on a variety of class and race combinations. The player needs to shower 11 races and classes with the petals, and the rose petals come in piles of five, so it's going to cost 6 Love Tokens for three piles of petals in total.
These quests are easiest to finish in a battleground or a sanctuary city that hosts both factions. Examples include Dalaran in Northrend and Shattrath in Outland. Another option is the Darkmoon Faire, if it's running concurrently.

Flirt with Disaster
How does the poem go; tinker, tailor, pie seller, cockroach vendor? The subject of the player's drunken affection is slightly different depending on their faction. Horde players will seek out Jeremiah Payson, the cockroach vendor of Undercity, and Alliance players will visit Ironforge to find Sraaz the Pie Vendor.
- Buy some perfume from the Lovely Vendor and apply it. It lasts for one hour.
- Take a swig of whatever booze the character likes to get "completely smashed." Watch the dialogue box in the bottom right to say, "You feel completely smashed!"
- Target either Sraaz or Jeremiah and throw a handful of rose petals on them.
- Use the /kiss emote to complete the Achievement.
I Pitied the Fool
The Love Fool is a dummy that the player can use to draw aggro for PvE, but in this case, it's used to finish an Achievement. The player has to use the /pity emote on the Love Fool after placing it in certain locations.
- Arathi Basin. Join the battle and between slaying the other faction and guarding precious resources, drop a Love Fool.
- Naxxramus. The player needs to be in a raid to get in, but the good news is only one other party member is required.
- Culling of Stratholme. Not the dungeon in the Eastern Plaguelands, but the one in the Caverns of Time.
- Gurubashi Arena. The only open-world location is not in a battleground, but it is a PvP area. All of Starnglethorn Vale can be a battleground all its own, so proceed with caution.
- Wintergrasp. In the battleground of Northrend, it's easy to find a place on either side to drop a Love Fool.
The Love Fool only lasts for one use, and costs 10 Love Tokens each, so it costs a total of 50 Love Tokens to complete this Achievement. Using the Love Fools that other players drop will also work.
Lonely?
This Achievement is one of the more difficult to finish because it takes at least one other player and a bit of coordination. The items needed to finish Lonely? Include at least one Romantic Picnic Basket, which can be shared between players so not everyone needs their own, and a Buttermilk Delight chocolate candy.
The basket and Box of Chocolates cost 10 Love Tokens each. Once a player or their companion has dropped a basket, they can sit together and eat their Buttermilk Delight and finish the Achievement. The candies aren't soulbound, so they can also be shared if another player doesn't have one.
Shafted!
The Silver Shafted Arrow is available from the Lovely Vendor for 5 Love Tokens, and 10 are needed so the player has to buy two stacks for a total of 10 tokens. Use the arrow on 10 different players but be careful that they don't already have a companion pet or the shot won't count.
When it comes to Warlocks and Hunters, demons and combat pets don't count as companions, so you can still shoot a player with a pet out if it's something used for buffs or battle.
Sweet Tooth
An Achievement that only requires the player to eat four different chocolates, and that can be tougher than it sounds because the contents of every Box of Chocolates are random. Each box will cost the payer 10 Love Tokens and it will probably take more than one purchase.
The four chocolates required are Dark Desire, Very Berry Cream, Sweet Surprise, and Buttermilk Delight. The last one is also needed to complete the Lonely! Achievement too, so make sure to get more than one.
The Rocket's Pink Glare
Save up at least 10 Love Tokens to buy two sets of Love Rockets from the Lovely Vendor. This Achievement requires that the player set 10 off in at least 20 seconds, which is easier if the Love Rockets are set to a hotkey that can be pressed repeatedly in rapid succession. If the Achievement is set to Track, a timer is also included which is equally handy.
There are three Achievements connected with the holiday that aren't included in the Achievements required for The Love Fool title: Lovely Luck Is On Your Side, Perma-Peddle, and Tough Love.
