On July 7, World of Warcraft announced that Patch 11.2, Ghosts of K'aresh, will go live on Tuesday, August 5, just over four weeks after the announcement was made. World of Warcraft Patch 11.2 is the final major patch of The War Within, and will take players to the Ethereals' home world of K'aresh, as they fight back against the forces of the Void.
World of Warcraft' s 11.2 update is headlined by the remains of K'aresh, a world consumed by a Void entity called Dimensius, the All-Devouring. Players will join forces with an unexpected ally against Dimensius in the Manaforge Omega raid once Season 3 begins a week after Patch 11.2 goes live. Other features that will be included with Patch 11.2 include a new artifact cloak called the Reshii Wraps that will gain power as players progress through K'aresh, and the return of Tazavesh, The Veiled Market, as a base of operations for players to explore.
World of Warcraft Finally Reveals Twitch Drop for Patch 11.1.7
Though it did not arrive with the update's release, World of Warcraft Patch 11.1.7, Legacy of Arathor, will have a Twitch Drop campaign after all.
Just a few weeks after giving players the first glimpses of World of Warcraft's 11.2 update, Blizzard gave players a heads-up on when the patch will hit live servers. According to Blizzard, World of Warcraft Patch 11.2, Ghosts of K'aresh, will be released on Tuesday, August 5, following server maintenance. One week later, on August 12, The War Within Season 3 will begin, which will also open up the Manaforge Omega raid and a new Mythic+ dungeon pool. The new Mythic+ dungeon rotation will include Patch 11.2's latest dungeon, Eco-Dome Al'dani, along with the Halls of Atonement and both Tazavesh dungeons from the Shadowlands expansion. Phase Diving will be a new feature for Patch 11.2, as players can use their Reshii Wraps to experience new quests and mechanics through a new world overlay that allows players to see the world as Ethereals do.

Patch 11.2 will also include a new Delve set in the Dragon Isles, as The Archival Assault will take World of Warcraft players back to the Azure Vaults as they fend off some rogue Ethereals. Ghosts of K'aresh will also include a nifty way for players to reach Delve entrances, as a portal chamber will be added in Tazavesh to provide players with quick access to each Bountiful Delve active on a particular day.
New class tier sets and balance changes will also be included with the Ghosts of K'aresh update. Between the launch of Patch 11.2 and the reveal of the Midnight expansion at Gamescom, World of Warcraft and its players have a busy August schedule ahead.
