World of Warcraft fans have finally discovered the Inky Snapdragon Treat – the last missing color for the Prismatic Snapdragon mount from the Siren Isle. Obtained by collecting the Trashmaster’s Mantle from Operation: Mechagon, the dark coloration of the Prismatic Snapdragon was one of the last mysteries waiting to be unlocked in World of Warcraft Patch 11.0.7.

The Prismatic Snapdragon is a color-changing ground mount World of Warcraft players can obtain on the Siren Isle. Earned by completing simple daily quests over the course of 10 days, the Prismatic Snapdragon has eight different color variations that can be unlocked by feeding it Snapdragon Treats found scattered across the island. However, the source of the Inky Snapdragon Treat has remained a mystery for several weeks.

Now, World of Warcraft fans have finally figured out how to get this elusive Prismatic Snapdragon coloration. Gazix Fusegrease is a Goblin NPC at the Siren Isle base camp in World of Warcraft Patch 11.0.7 who wanders about collecting refuse. Players who have the Trashmaster’s Mantle – a cloak that drops from K.U.-J.0. In Operation: Mechagon – or who have turned the cloak into Jani, the God of Garbage, to earn the permanent Trashmaster title, will find a special dialogue option with this NPC that awards the Inky Snapdragon Treat and its subsequent coloration for the Prismatic Snapdragon mount.

How to Get Inky Snapdragon Treat in World of Warcraft

  • Obtain the Trashmaster’s Mantle from K.U.-J.0. In the Operation: Mechagon mega-dungeon.
  • Speak to Gazix Fusegrease in Flotsam Shoal with the Trashmaster’s Mantle equipped, transmogged, or in one’s inventory or bank.
    • Fans who have given the Trashmaster’s Mantle to Jani for the quest I Am the Trashmaster to unlock the permanent title also get the dialogue required to get the treat.

Blizzard implemented a hotfix alongside the January 21 weekly reset that altered the conditions needed to find the Inky Snapdragon Treat, which led to its discovery shortly after. It is possible players originally needed to have the Trashmaster’s Mantle equipped or transmogged along with the Trashmaster title – or possibly even have the Jani mount from World of Warcraft’s new meta-achievements – in order to earn the treat. Regardless of the original circumstances, it is now much easier to obtain this final color.

Fans who haven’t gotten the Trashmaster’s Mantle from K.U.-J.O. Are in luck; the boss appears in Operation: Mechagon: Workshop, which is one of the eight dungeons coming in the World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 Mythic dungeon rotation. Lucky players might become the Trashmaster simply by pushing Mythic+ keys in The War Within Season 2 – though fans who want to get the Inky Snapdragon Treat sooner can still farm it at about a 15% drop rate right now.
