World of Warcraft recently rolled out a new hotfix full of adjustments to herald the arrival of Legion Remix Phase 2. These bug fixes, along with the second phase of World of Warcraft: Legion Remix, will all be live when servers come back up after weekly maintenance.
Legion Remix is a limited-time WoW event that arrived with Patch 11.2.5 on October 7. Through January 19, players can blitz through the critically-acclaimed expansion with special abilities, expedited leveling, and unlimited power scaling. Unlike Mists of Pandaria Remix, Legion Remix is rolling out in phases reminiscent of the original expansion’s major updates, with the second one, Rise of the Nightfallen, officially going live once servers come back after maintenance taking place at press time.
World of Warcraft: Legion Remix Lets Players Get an Unexpected Reward
There is no shortage of rewards for World of Warcraft players to earn in Legion Remix, but one of them comes as quite a surprise for players.
Shortly before this maintenance began, World of Warcraft implemented a hotfix that was largely targeted at repairing glitches in Legion Remix. A dozen bugs, ranging from disappearing NPCs and Fragmented Mementos of Epoch Challenges to overly-lethal Doomguard Challengers and critical campaign and Order Hall quest blocks, have all been resolved, which should help World of Warcraft: Legion Remix players of all classes have a smoother time.
Though most of the hotfix was geared towards this game mode, one adjustment was made to the core game as well. Additional abilities have been added to the list of options that can be tracked with the Cooldown Manager, whose improvements were one of the other major aspects of Patch 11.2.5.
Of course, this hotfix has not resolved all the bugs still present in World of Warcraft’s most recent Remix event. Legion was notoriously glitchy, and introducing Remix elements like Infinite Power to the WoW expansion has caused even more to pop up. Many issues still remain, such as one that causes characters to occasionally fall through the Infinite Bazaar, and while even more will likely appear in future phases, World of Warcraft will undoubtedly keep working on squashing these bugs in future hotfixes.
Legionfall, the third phase of World of Warcraft: Legion Remix, arrives on November 4, bringing the Broken Shore and the Tomb of Sargeras to the game, while Phase 4, Argus Eternal, invades the game on November 18 with the three Argus mini-zones and Antorus, the Burning Throne. Then, December 9 marks the arrival of Infinite Echoes, the final phase that lasts until the end of Legion Remix, which will feature catch-up mechanics and some time-twisted original content.
