The Public Test Realm for World of Warcraft Patch 11.2.5 lists the tentative start and end dates for Legion Remix as October 7, 2025 and January 19, 2026. If these dates are accurate, World of Warcraft players will have just over three months to enjoy Legion Remix, with approximately two weeks between each release phase.
After much speculation, World of Warcraft recently confirmed that Legion Remix is officially coming in Patch 11.2.5. Featuring remixed Artifact Weapons, a Heroic World Tier system reminiscent of Diablo 4, and tons of new and returning collectibles, this limited-time game mode promises to be both exciting and rewarding.
World of Warcraft Patch 11.2 Added a Secret Way to Skip Delves
World of Warcraft Patch 11.2, Ghosts of K'aresh, adds plenty of content to the game, but one secret lets players skip to the end of a Delve.
Though World of Warcraft has not shared an official release date for Legion Remix yet, the PTR might have let the cat out of the bag. According to the in-game calendar on these test realms, Legion Remix is set to start on October 7, and will run through January 19, 2026. Assuming these dates are accurate, fans will have just over three months to enjoy this accelerated Remix event, though it is important to note that these dates are subject to change until they are officially announced by Blizzard.

Unlike World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Remix, Legion Remix will be rolled out in phases, each of which will mirror the release patches of the original expansion. These updates will drop every two weeks, with the final phase lasting longer, giving players plenty of time to “say goodbye to all the infinites, your friends and allies you made along the way, and embrace the chaos as the timeline begins to collapse.”
This Public Test Realm calendar also gives fans some big hints about when they can expect Patch 11.2.5 to release. Mists of Pandaria Remix launched roughly one week after Patch 10.2.7 released. If Legion Remix does the same, Patch 11.2.5 itself may arrive on September 30 – exactly eight weeks after Patch 11.2, and thus, aligning with its recent release cadence and World of Warcraft's roadmap.
What’s more, this prospective end date might hold significance as well. According to the pre-purchase page for World of Warcraft: Midnight, the next expansion is releasing no later than June 30, 2026. It also happens that January 20 – the day after Legion Remix is said to be ending – is 16 weeks after Patch 11.2.5's potential release date, and ostensibly eight weeks after Patch 11.2.7. This would make it the perfect time to release the Pre-Patch for World of Warcraft: Midnight. If these extrapolations are accurate, World of Warcraft players could see Midnight by the end of February or early March of next year.
