World of Warcraft: Midnight's Epic Cinematic Trailer

During the trailer, titled "Intercession," WoW Worldsoul Saga antagonist Xal’atath launches an assault on the sacred Sunwell of Quel’thalas as Lor’themar Theron, Lady Liadrin, and the Blood Elves seek to stop her at all costs. While Lor’themar holds off the Harbinger and her minions, Liadrin falls back to the Sunwell, beseeching it for help. At the darkest hour, it answers her prayers, seemingly sending a legion of unidentified Paladins to her aid. Together, they begin pushing back against the forces of the Void.

World of Warcraft also put out a short gameplay trailer that reveals tons of information about the expansion. Four new zones – Eversong Woods, Zul’Aman, Harandar, and the Voidstorm – will greet fans at launch, along with a level cap of 90, the Haranir Allied Race, and the Prey system. Demon Hunter players in World of Warcraft will also gain access to the Void-themed Devourer specialization, a mid-range DPS playstyle, plus the ability for Void Elves to choose the class.

Eight dungeons are coming in the expansion, including some noteworthy locations like Windrunner Spire, Magister’s Terrace, and Murder Row. What's more, Delves return with 10 instances spread across the Midnight zones, a new Nemesis, and Valeera Sanguinar replacing Brann as the NPC companion for WoW: Midnight.
