World of Warcraft: Midnight has officially been revealed, which means the Base, Heroic, and Epic Edition pre-order packages are also available now. Light and Void-themed transmogs, mounts, and pets await players who pre-purchase select editions of World of Warcraft: Midnight, along with a beta key, early access to Housing and the expansion content, and a bunch of Trader’s Tender.
Gamescom Opening Night Live has concluded, meaning the convention is officially in full swing. World of Warcraft appeared alongside the many games at the showcase to pull back the curtain on Midnight, the second entry of the Worldsoul Saga.
World of Warcraft Teases Big Quality-of-Life Improvements in Future Updates
World of Warcraft shares some of its plans to add even more quality-of-life improvements to the legendary MMORPG by iterating on an existing feature.
All World of Warcraft: Midnight Pre-Order Bonuses
Though World of Warcraft: Midnight will be arriving early next year, players can claim a piece of the expansion right now. Pre-purchases for the Midnight expansion are now live on Battle.net in three different editions: Base, Heroic, and Epic. The Base Edition, available for $50, includes all current WoW expansions up to The War Within, plus access to Midnight itself. Fans will also get an Enhanced Level 80 Character Boost, early access to Player Housing, and 500 Trader’s Tender. The $70 Heroic Edition includes everything from the Base Edition, as well as the Lightwing Dragonhawk flying mount, Lightstrider Raiment transmog set, and 500 more Trader’s Tender.
Fans who shell out $90 for the Epic Edition will get all of that, plus the Voidwing Drawgonhawk and Voidlight Surger mounts, the Voidstrider Raiment transmog, the Hopeflutter and Doomfeathers pets, and 1000 more Trader’s Tender to spend at WoW's Trading Post. Additionally, these gamers will get both Light-Infused and Void-Corrupted Rotunda and Fountain decor pieces for their houses, along with paintings of Alleria, Turalyon, Arator, and Xal’atath. They will also get automatic access to the Midnight beta, three days early access before the expansion’s official release, and 30 days of game time.

Players who pre-purchase these bundles will receive the cosmetic sets, mounts, pets, Trader’s Tender, and Character Boost immediately. The decorations will become available once Patch 11.2.7 arrives, which is when early access to Player Housing in World of Warcraft is expected to go live. Midnight beta and early access dates have not been revealed, but fans will likely hear about them within the next few months.
Opening Night Live may be over, but Gamescom has only just begun. WoW has tons of panels planned over the course of the convention, so fans can expect to learn even more information about Midnight, and likely Patch 11.2.5, over the next few days.
