World of Warcraft is making Apexis Crystals, Veiled Argunite, and Order Resources Warband Transferable in Midnight. Once the next expansion releases, or possibly shortly before, World of Warcraft players will be able to freely trade these currencies between their characters.
The Warbands system in World of Warcraft: The War Within is a collection of alt-friendly features added with the expansion's Pre-Patch on July 23, 2024. This system includes many useful aspects, including account-wide reputations, a shared bank, and the ability to transfer certain currencies across characters.

Transfer Apexis Crystals, Veiled Argunite, and Order Resources in WoW: Midnight
Now, it seems like World of Warcraft: Midnight is adding a few more currencies to the list of those that can be shared across the account. WoW content creator MrGM discovered that, as of the most recent build of the World of Warcraft alpha, Apexis Crystals, Veiled Argunite, and Order Resources have all been flagged as Warband Transferable. It is currently unclear if these currencies will have a tax when traded or if they will have a 1:1 transfer rate.
Apexis Crystals are used to purchase non-raid gear sets, mounts, companions, and other rewards from Warlords of Draenor. Meanwhile, Veiled Argunite is used to buy various relics and gear from Thaumaturge Vashreen on the Vindicaar in Legion, plus Draenei-themed cosmetics and a Hearthstone toy from Gaal after completing the Man’ari customization unlock quest introduced in WoW: Dragonflight. Lastly, Order Resources are used to run the Class Order Hall system and purchase items from it, including new Housing Decor come Midnight. While Order Resources can technically be transferred right now via Order Resource Caches, Midnight will make this process much more efficient.
While this feature was found on the Midnight alpha, it might technically arrive before the expansion itself. There is a slim chance it could be included as a part of Patch 11.2.7, though it wasn’t mentioned in the update’s official announcement. Alternatively, it could be introduced as a part of the World of Warcraft: Midnight Pre-Patch, which may be arriving on January 27, 2025, if datamined dates from the alpha are correct.
Regardless, these aren’t the last currencies that will be made Warband Transferable in World of Warcraft. Blizzard has expressed an interest in making most currencies and reputations from legacy WoW content shared across the Warband. While it will probably take many years to make that happen, it can’t hurt for fans to start stashing some of these old currencies until World of Warcraft finally folds them into the Warband system.
