A new World of Warcraft mount discovered in the Public Test Realm for Patch 11.1 suggests that the secret fifth Goblin Cartel in the update is none other than Darkfuse Solutions. Though not explicit confirmation, it seems like World of Warcraft players will be able to work with Gallywix’s goons at some point in the update.
World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 is adding the Cartels of Undermine as a new open-world Renown faction. Composed of the four major Goblin Cartels – Bilgewater, Blackwater, Steamwheedle, and the Venture Co. – fans can pledge themselves to one Cartel a week, earning them bonus reputation that helps them progress down the global Cartel Renown track. However, in several recent reveals about the World of Warcraft update, Blizzard has teased a secret fifth Goblin Cartel will be involved somewhere in the patch.
World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 Adding Two New Types of Races
In addition to the D.R.I.V.E. Breakneck races, World of Warcraft players can speed through Undermine in another non-Skyriding method in Patch 11.1.
Now, World of Warcraft fans have discovered who this secret group will likely be. On the PTR for WoW Patch 11.1, Wowhead discovered the Darkfuse Spy-Eye, a new mount that drops from the Darkfuse Precipitant, a rare elite with a currently unknown spawning method. Certain rares in Undermine require players associated with one of the major Cartels to summon, leading fans to surmise that the Darkfuse Precipitant may need one pledged to Darkfuse Solutions – a faction discovered via an achievement called A Long Fuse, obtained by reaching Exalted with them.
Darkfuse Solutions – Secret 5th Cartel in WoW Patch 11.1
The Darkfuse are a new group of Goblins that appeared in The War Within. Not to be confused with the similarly-named Blackfuse who aided Garrosh during Mists of Pandaria, this private security company is working for Gallywix as mercenaries, bruisers, and enforcers. While they are featured prominently as enemies in the update, the faction’s description makes it seem players will be able to work with them at some point – likely after Gallywix is defeated in the new Liberation of Undermine raid in World of Warcraft Patch 11.1.
Darkfuse Solutions did not make friends working for Gallywix, but giving up isn't the goblin way. They're back with a new brand, a new attitude, and hey, it was just business, right?
It remains to be seen exactly how working with Darkfuse Solutions will work. It is likely that the faction will unlock after the raid is cleared, and that fans will be able to choose them alongside the other four Cartels of Undermine factions. While unlikely, the Renown track for the faction could theoretically get a five-tier extension to accommodate the Darkfuse, turning it into a 25-rank faction like The Severed Threads Renown factions from WoW: The War Within, which operates similarly via the Pact system.

Regardless, Darkfuse Solutions is completely separate from the Gallagio Loyalty Rewards Club – the new Liberation of Undermine raid Renown track in World of Warcraft Patch 11.1. Players will likely have to wait until after Undermined releases in order to learn exactly how this secret Darkfuse Solutions faction will work.
