- Fans praise the detailed costume, suggesting improvements like adding pistol-style weapons.
A creative World of Warcraft player impressed the fan community and promoted peace at any cost by sharing a new customized costume based on the DC hero Peacemaker. The character customization system in World of Warcraft allows for a wide array of costumes to be produced using the game's armor and clothing options.
One of the great motivators for playing a big live service game like World of Warcraft is self-expression. As one of the games with the best transmog systems around, World of Warcraft leverages the number of armor and clothing visuals created over the years to improve players' potential when deciding on a unique or creative look for themselves. The results have been inspiring, with any number of highly accurate cosplays and unusual costumes emerging from the game's "fashion" community.
World of Warcraft is Finally About to Be For Everyone
Blizzard’s latest WoW updates break barriers to gameplay, making the experience more inclusive and accessible for all players.
The latest cosplay ensemble to impress that community comes courtesy of Reddit user _Vard_, who created a customized World of Warcraft Hunter transmog set based on Peacemaker, the obscure DC Comics anti-hero. Catapulted into the spotlight in recent years by his portrayal by professional wrestler and actor John Cena in The Suicide Squad and the titular TV series, Peacemaker has gained a number of fans disproportionate to his origins as a somewhat gimmicky combatant with a dedication to achieving "peace," no matter the body count.
World of Warcraft Peacemaker Transmog Impresses the Community With its Accuracy

_Vard_'s World of Warcraft Peacemaker transmog took advantage of the main centerpiece of Peacemaker's otherwise unremarkable hero costume: the oddly shaped Peacemaker helmet. The Crest of the Undying Visionary helmet from the Zul, Reborn Uldir raid provides an almost perfect proxy for the iconic headgear, thanks to its fin-like crest emerging from the top and sides of the head. The rest of the outfit, including Peacemaker's tight red top and bright blue gloves, were emulated in WoW's fantasy style via the Felstalker Breastplate, and dyed Purple Snugglefin Murloc Mittens. Liberal use of the invisible "Hidden" clothing items hid parts that weren't necessary for the costume, like WoW's notoriously large shoulder pads and pauldrons.
Players on the official WoW subreddit were seriously impressed with the costume, praising _Vard_. One commenter even highlighted the presence of the otherwise common eagle instead of a rarer WoW Hunter pet allowed Eagly, Peacemaker's pet eagle, to participate in the cosplay. A few also wished that Hunters had access to pistol-style weapons, which would make the outfit that much more accurate.
