World of Warcraft just added a simple way for players to get a shirt and tabard in WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria. Though it may seem like a small change, acquiring these important transmog cosmetics was extremely difficult in the new World of Warcraft game mode until now.
In WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria, players experience a streamlined version of the 12-year-old expansion with modern convenience, tons of easily acquired gear, and powerful new World of Warcraft abilities to customize one’s build. However, Timerunner characters cannot leave Pandaria, receive mail from non-Timerunners, pick up professions, or use the auction house. While this may not seem like a problem at first, fans quickly realized that acquiring a shirt and tabard for transmog purposes was nearly impossible in Pandaria alone.
Luckily, it seems World of Warcraft has given players a much easier way to pick up a shirt and tabard to finish their characters’ transmogs. According to some recent hotfixes shared on the WoW forums, fans can now pick up a Recruit’s Shirt and Guild Tabard from Larah Treebender at any Infinite Bazaar, or from vendors found in the core faction hubs in the Jade Forest and Vale of Eternal Blossoms. Each item only costs five Bronze, making them exceptionally affordable.
How to Get a Shirt and Tabard in WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria
-
A Recruit’s Shirt and Guild Tabard can be purchased for 5 Bronze, the currency for WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria, from:
- Larah Treebender at any Infinite Bazaar
- Mei Steadypaw outside the Shrine of Two Moons and the Shrine of Seven Stars
- Hanchoon Yi at Paw’don Village, Honeydew Village, Shrine of Two Moons, and the Shrine of Seven Stars
For the first few days of the event, World of Warcraft players hoping to transmog a shirt or tabard had to try exceptionally hard to do so. Some fans acquired them in certain World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria scenarios that briefly took them to capital cities like Darnassus and Silvermoon City, but these methods were unreliable at best, and a hassle at worst. Now, players can pick up these critical transmog cornerstones without any trouble at all.
So far, World of Warcraft Remix: Mists of Pandaria has been well-received by fans. There are some problems with scaling, Bronze acquisition rates, and some miscellaneous bugs, but World of Warcraft has promised to improve the game mode and has already implemented several hotfixes in the first week since its launch. With three more months until the game mode ends, players should expect World of Warcraft to continue to fine-tune the experience to make it even more rewarding.
