World of Warcraft Patch 11.2.7, “The Warning,” arrives December 2, with the Brawler’s Guild feature making its grand return a week later on December 9. Housing early access, revamped new and returning player experiences, a prologue to Midnight, and more are coming to World of Warcraft in the final content update of The War Within.

Recently, World of Warcraft revealed Patch 11.2.7, the last planned update before the Midnight expansion. While Player Housing early access – one of the headlining features of the update – was confirmed to be arriving on December 2, the exact schedule for the patch's release had not been confirmed.

Now, fans not only know exactly when Patch 11.2.7 is arriving, but what they can expect in the update. December 2 is the big day, with most of its features arriving with the update’s initial launch. Early access to Housing, weekly Housing decor quests, the Visions of a Shadowed Sun prologue to Midnight, a revamped new and returning player experience, the Pandaren Heritage Armor questline, and a Lorewalking story for the Elves of Quel’Thalas in WoW all arrive on patch day as permanent additions to the game.

Some of the new features from Patch 11.2.7 are not evergreen additions, however. The Turbulent Timeways event returns once more, this time with the debut of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands Timewalking, which itself will be added to the permanent rotation of Timewalking expansions. Likewise, the Winds of Mysterious Fortune leveling event blows into Azeroth again, providing a massive boost to experience and reputation gains.

Then, on December 9, the Brawler’s Guild returns to World of Warcraft with some big changes. New achievements, challenge modes, rewards, and boss battles await fans at Brawl’gar Arena and Bizmo’s Brawlpub, with all characters being able to enjoy the feature without hunting down an invitation. It remains to be seen if the Brawler’s Guild will stick around indefinitely, or if it will close its doors again at some point in the future as it has in previous expansions.

After Patch 11.2.7, the next major milestone will be the World of Warcraft: Midnight Pre-Patch event. This 12.0 update doesn’t have an official release date yet, but evidence suggests it could arrive as early as January 20, the day Legion Remix ends. After that, World of Warcraft: Midnight itself will be released, with current projections placing its arrival on or around March 10.
