World of Warcraft has officially revealed Patch 11.2.7, which includes early access to Player Housing, a return of the Brawler’s Guild and Turbulent Timeways, the prologue for Midnight, and more. Titled “The Warning,” the final update for World of Warcraft: The War Within is set to release on December 2.
On October 7, World of Warcraft released Patch 11.2.5. This content update added a few extra character slots and improvements to the Cooldown Manager, but is largely dominated by Legion Remix and the Season 3 Turbo-Boost.
World of Warcraft Getting New Timewalking Event in Patch 11.2.7
World of Warcraft is gearing up to add a new Timewalking event as a part of Patch 11.2.7, the final content update for The War Within.
Now, less than two days after this update started hitting servers, World of Warcraft has already revealed its next content update. Patch 11.2.7, “The Warning,” is set to arrive on December 2, and will be the last one before the Pre-Patch for Midnight. As such, fans can expect a narrative bridge featuring Vereesa Windrunner, the missing Windrunner sister in World of Warcraft, as she investigates a dire prophecy pointing towards the destruction of Quel'Thalas.
World of Warcraft Patch 11.2.7 ‘The Warning’ Major Features
- The War Within epilogue/Midnight prologue questline featuring Vereesa Windrunner
- Housing Early Access
- Revamped New and Returning Player Experiences
- New Lorewalking story: The Elves of Quel'Thalas
- Pandaren Heritage Armor
- Brawler's Guild
A new Lorewalking story told by Lorewalker Cho covering the history of the Thalassian Elves in World of Warcraft is coming to catch gamers up on the lore of the race before Midnight. Additionally, the Pandaren are finally getting their Heritage Armor questline, in which players will return to the Wandering Isle to save the Spirit Festival, starring beloved Pandaren like Li Li Stormstout, who is finally all grown up.
Fans who pre-purchased Midnight will also be able to get their hands on Player Housing in World of Warcraft on December 2 when it enters Early Access. Those who don’t own Midnight yet can still collect decor and visit houses and Neighborhoods, but will not be able to get a house until they purchase the expansion. Regardless, qualifying fans will be able to start the Housing tutorial upon logging on patch day, though new players will need to complete the brief boat tutorial in the updated Exile’s Reach starting experience before doing so.
The Brawler’s Guild is also returning in WoW Patch 11.2.7 with a fresh coat of paint. New and returning bosses arrive at Brawl’gar Arena and Bizmo’s Brawlpub, featuring additional challenges, achievements, and rewards, including two mounts and some decor for Housing. What’s more, the Turbulent Timeways event returns as well, featuring new mount rewards and the debut of Shadowlands Timewalking. With Midnight expected in early 2026, Patch 11.2.7 should make sure fans have plenty to keep them busy before the expansion’s launch.
