World of Warcraft just shared an incredible fan-made trailer for Wrath of the Lich King Classic’s new patch, The Secrets of Ulduar. Though made by a talented fan, this amazing trailer is an official World of Warcraft commercial production.

Hurricane is a World of Warcraft fan who became famous by making incredible trailers for famous WoW raids like Naxxramas using Blender, Photoshop, After Effects, and other art programs. Their skillful creations drew the attention of Blizzard, who began commissioning them for official World of Warcraft trailers with the launch of Wrath of the Lich King Classic.

Now, World of Warcraft has shared “Madness”–another incredible piece of Hurricane’s work. The trailer shows off the bosses, terrain, and atmosphere of the Ulduar raid. An Alliance soldier and Horde warrior fall victim to the maddening whispers of mysterious World of Warcraft Old God Yogg-Saron along with the Titan Keepers Hodir, Thorim, and Mimiron. While a little shorter than his other work, clocking in at 30 seconds, Hurricane put this trailer together in much less time than their previous creations.

Hurricane has been making World of Warcraft fan trailers for over 10 years now. Their trailer for Naxrammas and the Black Temple for World of Warcraft gained an especially large amount of traction, leading to their official work with Blizzard. With millions of views on each of their World of Warcraft videos, the added attention Hurricane has gotten from the official trailers could easily bring them above 100,000 subscribers.

As ever, fans were instantly charmed by Hurricane’s amazing work. At press time, “Madness” had nearly 50,000 views, with thousands more coming in by the minute. Players were quick to complement their incredible work as ever. Hurricane effortlessly captured the eldritch, otherworldly horror of the Ulduar story, and recreated one of the most beloved raids in World of Warcraft’s history with expertise. Many players are also happy to see Hurricane and other World of Warcraft content creators get official recognition from Blizzard.

The Secrets of Ulduar patch is currently live in Wrath of the Lich King Classic. Players can start earning Emblems of Conquest to exchange for powerful gear, complete dailies in the new Argent Tournament area, and challenge Wrath of the Lich King Heroic dungeons empowered by Mysterious Titan Relics to get raid gear from the last tier. The Ulduar raid itself opens on January 19 at 3 p.m. PST, so players won’t have to wait long to battle the madness of Yogg-Saron themselves.
