After the success of the first Remix event (Pandaria Remix), Blizzard is remixing another fan-favorite WoW expansion: Legion. First launched all the way back in 2016, World of Warcraft: Legion brought an end to the Burning Crusade and Illidan Stormrage's character arc and is looked back upon as one of the game's best expansions – with Legion Remix launching soon, players will be able to re-experience it all again.

Like Pandaria Remix before, Legion Remix will be added to the WoW client with a major patch, in this case, patch 11.2.5. Depending on where you live in the world (and which WoW servers you use), the WoW Legion Remix release time may vary as the game mode launches with the upcoming weekly server reset, which is always a day later in the EU.

Though servers are typically only down for an hour or two for normal weekly maintenance, it may take longer for servers to come back online after being updated to patch 11.2.5 (which includes Legion Remix as a new toggleable game mode in character creation). Expect it to take at least one to two hours for the WoW servers to be updated for Legion Remix.

World of Warcraft: Legion Remix is set to launch for NA, Latin, and Oceanic servers on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at the same time as the weekly reset.

The WoW NA server weekly reset occurs every Tuesday at 8 a.m. PDT. As such, the NA servers will go down for WoW Legion Remix at 7 a.m. PDT on October 7. Currently, servers are set to come online about eight hours later after maintenance has completed – expect to be able to play Legion Remix at around 3 p.m. PDT on October 7.

Convert this to your local time if you are not located in the PDT time zone to find out when the WoW NA servers go down in your area for Legion Remix.

When Does WoW Patch 11.2.5 Launch in Europe?

For WoW players in the EU, or players who rely on EU servers to play WoW, Legion Remix launches a day later on October 8, 2025, with the weekly reset.

The EU WoW server maintenance always takes place early in the morning on Wednesday, a day after the NA server maintenance. A few years ago, Blizzard moved the EU server reset time earlier in the morning to 3 a.m. CEST.

As such, expect the WoW EU servers to go down for the 11.2.5 patch at 3 a.m. CEST on October 8, 2025. If the maintenance lasts as long as it will on NA servers, the servers should come back online about eight hours later. Expect to be able to play Legion Remix anywhere from around 11 a.m. CEST on October 8.
