The land of Azeroth might be a fictional place, but every character still has to purchase gear upgrades, enchants, and glyphs, along with paying for gear repairs and upgrades. In the World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria expansion, players have to spend money on the usual expenses related to level progression, but there are also ways to make even more money.
When it comes to making gold, not everyone wants to be a "farmer" or spend the day playing the Auction House. There are plenty of ways to make more gold quickly and efficiently while also enjoying all of the new adventures that Pandaria has to offer.
Making more gold is easier once the player reaches level 90 because completing quests will now reward gold instead of xp. Level 90 also grants the player access to the endgame dungeons and raids that are great for farming loot and cash, but remember, there are also a lot of extra expenses related to endgame, like buying new gear and training. There's only one Auctioneer for each faction in Pandaria, so players who like to hustle on the AH might prefer to either push to the Vale of Seven Stars or return to Azeroth for their trading needs.

Useful Addons
For Organizing And Accumulating
The following addons have additional quality of life improvements in addition to helping the player make money, and even how and where they should spend it.
- Bagnon. Organizes the player's inventory and adds an icon to items that are upgrades and trash items that can be sold. There's also a handy search feature.
- Rarity. This addon not only finds rare monster spawns but also battle pets and resource nodes, which can also be valuable.
- Hyperspawn. A gold-farming addon that automatically sells grey quality level items and suggests prices for green items and BoE gear.
- Simple Gold Counter. A simple but effective budgeting tool that keeps track of gold gained and lost through expenses like repairs.
Certain items, like pets and rare gear, are always good for a generous turnover in the Auction House. However, each server is different when it comes to prices and players are advised to watch local trends carefully when it comes to prices.
WoW Mists Of Pandaria: How To Get To Pandaria
If you're trying to make it to Pandaria in World of Warcraft, this article can guide you there.
Daily Quests
A Ridiculous Amount In Pandaria
- Focus on the quest hubs of Halfhill Market and Townlong Steps, and don't forget professions.
The various factions in Pandaria have a lot of nice gear and enchants, including upgrades to weapons and mounts, but they also reward ample gold for the player's trouble. Here are a few that the player can get started on fairly early.
- Halfhill Market. This location is where the maxed-out Cooking quests are, and Farmer Yoon is just next door with his farming quests. Each has an impressive selection of Daily Quests that reward gold, resources, and unique Pandarian currencies.
- The Golden Lotus. More quests become available as the player's reputation with the Faction improves. This further unlocks other Pandarian factions, like the Shado-Pan and the August Celestials.
- Klaxxi'vess. Players have access to several daily quests here from the moment they arrive, unlike other factions that require a reputation grind first. They can unlock all of them by following an extensive quest chain, which is also a nice xp farm.
- The Order of the Cloud Serpent. The Arboretum is northeast of Dawn's Blossom, a major trade and transport hub in the central Jade Forest. Here is where players raise and train their Cloud Serpent Mount, with a lot of love, care, and daily quests. This is also a nice area for farming valuable herbs and fish. Train a new mount and make money while doing it.

Making Gold With Professions
Certain Products Are More Valuable Than Others
- Some products sell for higher prices because of expansion changes, and once a player determines an ideal gold-farming route for a Gathering profession, they can grind for xp and gold.
Players aren't able to purchase Flight Training in Pandaria until they hit level 90. Farming for resources can mean using Fishing, Mining, or Herbalism
- Herbalism. Since Cataclysm and the introduction of the Inscription profession, the price of herbs is considerably higher. Green Tea Leaf is used extensively and is in high demand.
- Inscription. The profession that produces Glyphs and upgrades, required to prepare for raids and endgame PvP. The first wave of these on the Auction House will be more expensive.
- Alchemy. It's not the potions and exilirs that make Alchemists rich, it's the transmutation powers. Living Steel, which is made from Motes of Harmony and a Triullium Bar, is one example.
- Tailoring. No matter the class or level, everyone needs more inventory space. Imperial Silk is the basis for most new recipes in the expansion, including the larger bags, and only Tailors can make it. Tailors also have the advantage of taking a secondary profession like Herbalism or Mining just to make money. Cloth can be looted from any humanoid body by anyone.
- Fishing. Nat Pagle rewards the player with gold and special gifts when they find unique fish, and varieties like the Golden Carp and Giant Mantis Shrimp are in high demand for other daily quests. Use them for the dailies and then sell or trade the rest to players with more gold than time.
