Wuthering Waves 1.4 Banners Explained

The latest Wuthering Waves update is out, bringing with it an exciting array of new features for players. In this patch, two new Resonators, Camellya, and Lumi, join the roster, each introducing unique abilities and gameplay to Wuthering Waves’ ever-expanding lineup. Alongside these additions, the update includes various quality-of-life improvements, a fresh main event, and a companion story to keep the experience fresh and engaging for new and returning players alike.

With this being the last update before Wuthering Waves Version 2.0, players should make the most of it. Understanding the current banners can help them decide if the featured Resonators are worth their time and resources. Ending on January 2, 2025, there's a good bit gamers might want to know about Camellya, Lumi, the return of Yinlin and Xiangli Yao, and the associated weapons.

Wuthering Waves 1.4 Banners Offer Two New Characters And Two 5-Star Rerun Banners

Wuthering Waves 1.4 Phase One: End of Lost Trail

The first character banner, End of Lost Trail, includes the following:

When Wuthering Waves version 1.4 was announced, players were thrilled at the prospect of Camellya’s return. Although she had already assumed a role in the story, she was not yet a playable character. Fortunately, she pairs well with Sanhua and Danjin, who didn't necessarily have a perfect match prior to Camellya's release. For the duration of the event, there are boosted drop rates for Camellya, Danjin, Yanyang, and Aalto. Notably, players are guaranteed a 5-star character within 80 Convenes, alongside a 4-star or higher item assured every 10 Convenes.

In addition, the first phase's weapon banner, Absolute Pulsation, includes:

Significantly, Red Spring is the only new addition to the Featured Weapon Convene in phase one. Still, as per tradition, all listed weapons will benefit from boosted drop rates during the event. Camellya's Red Spring sword is exclusive to the Featured Convene and won't be available through any other means unless her banner is brought back in the future. Fortunately, players are guaranteed to receive the target 5-star weapon on their first 5-star pull.

The free 4-star Somnoire Anchor weapon is obtainable after completing the Version 1.4 Main Event, Somnium Labyrinth, and is not part of a weapon banner.

Wuthering Waves 1.4 Phase Two: When Thunder Pours

The second character banner, When Thunder Pours, is confirmed to include the following, though there could be potential changes:

Lumi can be obtained during “When Thunder Pours” and “Celestial Revelation." She will be available permanently after the events end in the Standard Weapon and Resonator Convene, in addition to in the Afterglow Coral Store. She's expected to be removed at the end of the next version update.

For the duration of the When Thunder Pours event, there will be boosted drop rates for all the aforementioned characters. There are two 5-stars on this banner, and Lumi will be one of the boosted 4-stars next to Baizhi and Yuanwu. Additionally, this marks the first reappearance of Yinlin and Xiangli Yao in Wuthering Waves, with Yinlin initially debuting in June and Xiangli Yao following more recently in September. The banner is expected to begin on December 4 and end on December 25.

The first two are best paired with Yinlin and Xiangli Yao and are considered some of the best weapons in Wuthering Waves. Waning Redshift was last available in patch 1.3, while Jinzhou Keeper and Hollow Mirage can be acquired from any active Convene Banners. Although there are no new weapons in this banner, these options are valuable for existing Resonators.
