A new Wuthering Waves leak reveals the characters that will appear during the two banner cycles in the upcoming update 1.1. Similar to most gacha games at the moment, Wuthering Waves will release frequent updates that keep the game fresh by constantly adding new content.

Despite only being released recently, Wuthering Waves has already reached 30 million downloads. This milestone is quite impressive considering that the market in the gacha gaming industry has been very competitive, with HoYoverse's titles Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail reaching tens of millions of active players each month.

The characters in Wuthering Waves can be divided into two categories when it comes to rarity: five-star and four-star playable units. Five-star characters are much more powerful and harder to acquire since they have an 80-wish pity. This means that players are guaranteed a five-star drop every 80 wishes. Wuthering Waves' limited banners in 1.0 overlap, which means that players can pull for both Jiyan and Yunlin at the moment. New info shared by a credible leaker named merlin_impact has revealed more details about the two banners that will arrive with Wuthering Waves update 1.1.

Wuthering Waves Update 1.1 Banner Characters Revealed

  • Wuthering Waves 1.1 - First Banner Phase:
    • Jinhsi - five-star character
    • Danjin - four-star Havoc Sword user
    • Sanhua - four-star Glacio Sword user
    • Yangyang - four-star Aero Sword user

  • Wuthering Waves 1.1 - Second Banner Phase:
    • Changli - five-star character
    • Baizhi - four-star Glacio Rectifier user
    • Mortefi - four-star Fusion Pistol user
    • Taoqi - four-star Havoc Broadblade user

Even though Wuthering Waves did not officially confirm Jinhsi's element and weapon type, recent leaks have revealed that she will be a new five-star Spectro character, which will make her the second five-star to have this Attribute. Not including the main character, the only five-star with this Attribute type is Verina, who is arguably the most powerful support character in Wuthering Waves at the moment.

This led many fans to believe that Jinhsi could also have strong supportive abilities. According to previous leaks, she will be using the Broadblade as her weapon of choice. As the Magistrate of Jinzhou, Jinhsi carries a lot of responsibilities with a unique connection to Jue, the main sentinel of Jinzhou city.

The second five-star star Resonator confirmed for Wuthering Waves 1.1, Changli, is rumored to be a new five-star Havoc user. Wuthering Waves' main storyline has confirmed that Changli is Jinhsi's mentor and excels at luring enemies into her traps, hinting that her playstyle could revolve around this mechanic.
