Released on April 28, Wuthering Waves Version 2.3 coincided with the game's first anniversary. As part of the celebration, Kuro Games launched several events with useful rewards, including free Astrites and Radiant Tides. Wuthering Waves also added a Flight Wings skin, which players can claim for free as part of a login event. However, although the new Wings cosmetics were exciting news for fans, players have pointed out that the Glider, another frequently used gadget, deserves a skin of its own as well. It seems their demands could soon be addressed, according to recent leaks.

Prominent Wuthering Waves leaker WuWa Land has shared a screenshot of a new skin for the Glider. As seen in the image, the Glider's new appearance features feathers in a blue and white palette. Another leak from the same source revealed two more potential Glider skins, one of which is entirely gray, while the other carries the same pink and violet pattern as the anniversary Wings skin. Although the leak does not specify a release window for the Glider skins, these could likely arrive starting from Version 2.4, since they were not announced for the latest patch. Unlike the Flight Wings in Wuthering Waves, which are a mechanic exclusive to Rinascita, the Glider can be used across the whole map. If the leaks turn out to be true, the Glider skins could help players enhance their experience when exploring.

Wuthering Waves Leaks Tease New Glider Appearances

Offering skins for the Glider could be a response from Kuro Games to players' recent feedback. Several players were not satisfied with the anniversary rewards, which many felt were lacking. For this reason, Wuthering Waves' developers apologized to fans and gifted them 30 free Tides as compensation. Although this amount is not enough to guarantee a five-star character, it could still come in handy for fans, considering that Version 2.3 features two special anniversary banners with five limited characters each.

Wuthering Waves will celebrate its anniversary in May 2025, wrapping up a successful debut year that earned it a Best Mobile Game nomination at The Game Awards. Kuro Games already has big plans for the future as well, with Wuthering Waves partnering up with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners for a special crossover in 2026.
