In Wuthering Waves, players will encounter a variety of different obstacles as they head out on adventures to explore the world around them and complete objectives to progress forward. However, some objectives and areas will naturally be much more difficult and threatening to explore, so taking the time to improve and strengthen your Resonators is important.
One of the several ways in which you can improve the strength of your Resonators is through Wavebands, as these special items improve their abilities through the Resonance Chain system. For this reason, knowing how to obtain Wavebands will certainly come in handy during your playthrough.

Wintry Bell is one of the many ascension materials players must collect for their Wuthering Waves Resonators.
What Are Wavebands & How to Get Them in Wuthering Waves
In Wuthering Waves, Wavebands are a special item that has the unique ability to improve the skills of a Resonator through the Resonance Chain system. To obtain a Waveband, a player will need to pull a character that they have already pulled through the in-game gacha system. Resonance Chains are a special upgrade progression for each Resonator, so if you wish to ensure your characters operate to their maximum potential, making use of Wavebands and Resonance Chains is key.
As Rover can not be obtained through the in-game gacha system, Wavebands for this Resonator are earned as a player naturally progresses further through the game. There are two Wavebands available for the Spectro variant of Rover, and an additional two for Havoc Rover. This enables you to get quite a significant amount of value through utilizing Rover, as you can even change between the Spectro and Havoc elements freely after they have both been unlocked.
Every Resonator can have a maximum of six different Resonance Chains equipped at a single time, meaning you will need to pull a Resonator from Convene Banners multiple times to maximize their Resonance Chain. In the case that you have already maximized a Resonator's Resonance Chain and you then pull that same character, you will instead receive a reward of Aftershocked Coral.
Aftershocked Coral is a secondary way to earn Wavebands, as this in-game currency enables you to directly purchase Wavebands for a Resonator that you already own, without the need for pulling. To purchase a Waveband of a 4-Star Resonator, players will need to spend 55 Aftershocked Coral, while purchasing a waveband for a 5-Star Resonator will see players spending 270 Aftershocked Coral each time.
