A recent Wuthering Waves leak has revealed the limited character banners for Version 2.2. Wuthering Waves' next update is expected to launch in late March, with a new 5-Star unit, a new main story chapter, and more.

Although Wuthering Waves hasn't wrapped up the first half of Version 2.1 yet, players are already looking forward to the game's next update. Wuthering Waves' latest story trailer teased the next chapter of the Rinascita storyline, as Act 3 ended with a cliffhanger about Phrolova's goal and Cartethyia's identity. Wuthering Waves is also debuting Cantarella in Version 2.2 and has confirmed she is a 5-Star Havoc unit who wields a Rectifier. Since she was the only drip-marketed character for the 2.2 update, no other new units will be added in the patch. However, a new leak suggests that Version 2.2 will feature a double banner with two fan-favorite characters.

Reliable leaker WuWa Land has teased that the first half of Wuthering Waves Version 2.2 would run Cantarella's debut banner, while the second half should feature a double banner with Camellya and The Shorekeeper. The leak is supported by another report from Hunter x Hunter that reveals which 4-Star characters would be getting a rerun as well. Earlier leaks suggested that Cantarella's kit could make her work as a solid off-field DPS with party-wide healing. Meanwhile, Shorekeeper is arguably the best support unit in Wuthering Waves, and considering that she hasn't been in a banner since her debut, fans have been waiting for her return.

With three great units potentially running in the same update, Wuthering Waves players might have a hard time choosing who to pull for.

It has been heavily rumored that Wuthering Waves will soon release Aero Rover, and that their kit will be unlocked by progressing through the story. Wuthering Waves Version 2.2 is set to arrive on March 27, so players can expect more official information in the upcoming weeks.
