Recent Wuthering Waves leaks have revealed the in-game appearance of the long-rumored character Ciaccona. With the release of Rinascita, Wuthering Waves has teased a plethora of new units expected to debut during the 2.0 cycle.

Wuthering Waves' Rinascita chapter has been fairly popular among players so far, thanks in part to the number of new characters joining the playable roster. In late 2024, developer Kuro Games teased five new units for the 2.0 cycle, of which three have already been released. Brant will debut in the second phase of Wuthering Waves Version 2.1 banners, leaving Zani as the last early Rinascita character to become playable. However, it seems Wuthering Waves has even more characters in store for later patches, as recent leaks have pointed out.

A new leak from WuWa Land has shared images of Ciaccona's in-game appearance, revealing a closer look at her elf-like ears. Per the leak, Ciaccona also has red hair, green eyes, and asymmetrical horns. Her Tacet mark can be seen on her right collarbone, which could confirm her as a playable Resonator. Another leak from the same source revealed her full model, showing off Ciaccona's green dress and long boots. Ciaccona was briefly teased in Wuthering Waves' latest official story trailer, so players will likely meet her in-game sooner rather than later. Ciaccona won't become playable in the next patch, though, as Wuthering Waves has confirmed Cantarella as the only new unit for Version 2.2.

While Ciaccona's rarity remains unknown, earlier rumors have teased her as an Aero unit who carries a violin around. Finally, it has been suggested that Ciaccona's release would coincide with Zani's, potentially during Version 2.3. The game's most recent trailer also showed a glimpse of Rover's next element and a battle with the mysterious Cartethyia. Aero Rover will reportedly launch in the 2.2 update along with a free 5-Star weapon for all Wuthering Waves players.

Wuthering Waves Version 2.1 is expected to wrap up in late March. Players still have a few days left to pull for Wuthering Waves' Phoebe before Brant and Changli's banners launch on March 6. Aside from two new characters, the current update also brought new permanent game modes, a new explorable area, and multiple events. However, Version 2.2 is expected to pick up where the main story left off as Wuthering Waves' players are led to a bigger confrontation against Phrolova.
