A new Wuthering Waves leak has revealed Phrolova's potential release window. Wuthering Waves fans have long hoped the mysterious character would eventually become playable.

Players first encountered Phrolova in-game during Chapter 1's Acts 3 and 4 of the Main Quest. Like Scar, Phrolova is one of the Overseers of the Fractsidus, an organization that aims to accelerate the next Lament. Phrolova was responsible for the Tacet Discord outbreak, which showed how powerful she really is. Little is known about Phrolova, but she is confirmed to be a Resonator, with her Tacet Mark visible on her right arm. Because of this, fans have long expected Phrolova to be among Wuthering Waves' upcoming playable characters. It seems their wishes may soon become true, according to a new leak.

Reliable leaker StepLeaks has shared new information about Phrolova's release as a playable character. Per the leak, Phrolova's first banner will launch sometime in Version 2.0. Previous rumors suggested that Wuthering Waves Version 1.4 will be the last update set in the Huanglong nation. If Wuthering Waves follows its usual update schedule, Version 2.0 could launch in mid-December, with Phrolova's release window starting then.

The leak also sheds some light on Phrolova's role in the next Main Quest, stating that she'll be the main antagonist during the 2.0 update. Earlier rumors indicated that Wuthering Waves is adding skins for characters Jinhsi and Sanhua during this time as well, with the latter potentially free to obtain.
