A recent Wuthering Waves leak has revealed a new fast-travel feature that would provide faster Echo EXP farming starting with the game's next update. Wuthering Waves Version 1.4 is expected to launch around mid-November and will potentially be the last patch set in the Huanglong nation.

Similar to Genshin Impact's Artifact system, Wuthering Waves has Echoes to help players boost their characters' stats for better performance in combat. To level up their Echoes, Wuthering Waves players need Sealed Tubes, which can be obtained by clearing Tacet Fields dispersed throughout the map. Farming these EXP materials can be quite time-consuming, but a new leak suggests that Kuro Games is adding a convenient feature for faster farming.

A new Wuthering Waves leak hints at the potential launch window of Phrolova, one of the game's most highly-anticipated characters.

Community leaker Sleep has shared a new fast-travel feature coming to Wuthering Waves Version 1.4 that would let players directly teleport to Tacet Fields. Currently, players can only teleport to the nearest Resonance Beacon and then move towards the desired Tacet Field. If introduced, the new feature could make Echo EXP farming in Wuthering Waves less heavy for fans.

The leak also revealed a fast-travel feature for World Bosses, meaning players no longer need to walk towards them from the nearest Resonance Beacon. When defeated, World Bosses drop several materials needed for Resonator Ascension in Wuthering Waves. A direct World Boss teleportation update could put Wuthering Waves above some of its competitors in terms of comfortable farming since other games don't always provide this feature. For example, Genshin Impact's World Bosses are somewhat far from Waypoints, especially in areas like Liyue and Mondstadt. What Genshin Impact does have up its sleeve against Wuthering Waves is a shorter World Boss respawn wait. Kuro Games' title has Bosses respawn after a few minutes, while HoYoverse's respawn after just 10 seconds. Of course, Wuthering Waves has a lot less experience as a live-service game, so a faster respawn remains a possibility in future updates.

In past updates, Wuthering Waves developer Kuro Games has expressed its willingness to listen to players' feedback, and adding periodic quality-of-life functions can be proof of such intentions. Wuthering Waves Version 1.4 has not been officially announced yet, but leaks about the patch have already emerged online. Earlier leaks hinted at Wuthering Waves introducing skins for Jinhsi and Sanhua during the update and there are rumors that Version 1.4 will be the last before the game enters a new nation in 2.0.
