Wuthering Waves has shared a first look at new skins for Changli and Carlotta, both scheduled for release during Version 2.4. Wuthering Waves' anniversary patch is set to launch on April 29, and with it will come multiple special rewards.

Kuro Games' popular open-world gacha Wuthering Waves has had quite a successful first year. The gacha title has continuously received praise for its high-quality graphics and compelling story, quickly becoming one of the best mobile RPGs of recent years. With Wuthering Waves celebrating its first anniversary on May 22, the developers recently held a special livestream for Version 2.3. The event revealed a ton of content and rewards coming in the next patch, including free pulls and new five-star characters. However, Kuro Games also gave players a glimpse of what to expect in Version 2.4, such as new skins for two beloved characters.

Wuthering Waves has unveiled new skins for the fan-favorite units Changli and Carlotta, releasing in the 2.4 update. As seen in the official promotional images, both skins are summer-themed and give the characters new bathing suits. Both Changli and Carlotta will be featured in Wuthering Waves Version 2.3 banners, so players can add them to their roster ahead of their skins' debuts. According to the developers, a Version 2.3 anniversary event will also reward players with a free "Outfit Voucher" worth 300 Lunites. This item can be used in the in-game store for a price reduction when purchasing any character skin. The Outfit Voucher can be used together with other limited discounts as well.

Wuthering Waves Reveals Changli and Carlotta Skins for Version 2.4

Changli and Carlotta are the second pair of characters to get alternate outfits since Jinhsi and Sanhua in 2024. While Sanhua's outfit was obtainable for free, Jinhsi's premium skin in Wuthering Waves can only be purchased with Lunites. It is worth noting that Jinhsi's outfit also alters her weapon and combat animations. Kuro Games hasn't detailed whether Changli and Carlotta's skins would have the same effects, but it's likely that they will, considering that they're both five-star characters.

The Outfit Voucher can be a useful item for players who wish to save their Lunites while still giving their favorite unit the best treatment. Aside from these new character outfits, Wuthering Waves is releasing a Wings skin that can be obtained for free during Version 2.3. The patch will also mark Wuthering Waves' debut on Steam, and players can already add the RPG to their wishlist.
