Unfinished Book, or detecting lost pages, is one of the puzzle types players will encounter while tackling challenges for The Three Fratellis in Wuthering Waves' Rinascita region, specifically with brother Fratellino. Unlike many other Fratellis puzzles or other challenging tasks, Unfinished Book challenges can be attempted multiple times until players reach their desired collection percentage.

To complete the challenge, players must collect at least 75% of the book's pages. However, collecting 95% of the pages for each challenge unlocks an achievement called Freehand Circle, making it worthwhile for players aiming to complete every achievement. Here’s how to complete these puzzles in general in Wuthering Waves.

Once players arrive at the location for one of these challenges, they simply need to talk to Fratellino to begin the challenge. A marker will appear to indicate the NPC's location once players are nearby. Additionally, this NPC is trackable through the area's exploration progress under the Three Fratellis Challenges, alongside other puzzle types.

Speak with Fratellino: Interact with the NPC to initiate the challenge.
Transform into Lottie Lost: Approach the golden glowing book to activate your transformation.
Memorize the trail: A bird’s-eye view trail for the pages will appear. Take a moment to memorize it as closely as possible.
Follow the trail: After returning to the third-person view, carefully follow the trail to the end marker.
Achieve at least 75% accuracy: Once the trail is complete, reach the required percentage and
Return to Fratellino: Speaking with Fratellino will allow players to claim the chest reward.
Retry if necessary: If you fail or are aiming for a higher score (95%+ for achievements), you can repeat the challenge.

Getting 75% of the pages should be relatively simple to get the chest, and exploration progress, as long as players can generally memorize the spots. However, there are a few tips to ensure achieving a high score, such as over 95%:

Follow the trail closely: Once back in the third-person view, the line will remain lit for a while longer. Use this as a guide to stay on track.
Pay attention to the shape: The images are often symmetrical or create a certain shape (such as a heart, boat etc.), which can help players recall the general layout.
Observe the arena details: Look for visual cues like candles, books, piles of paper, or other objects. These can serve as helpful indicators for precise navigation, especially at turns. However, not all challenges include these visual hints.
Spot the sparkles: Carefully watch for sparkles indicating the lost pages as you move along the path.
Take your time: There's no time limit to complete the line, so proceed at your own pace.
Use screenshots if needed: If memorization is challenging, take a screenshot of the bird's-eye view image for reference instead of relying solely on memory.
