Aside from the gorgeous art and exciting gameplay, the world of Wuthering Waves brings a landscape so vast it's easy to get lost in. Solaris - 3 is divided into more than 5 regions, and each one carries unique environments and enemies. The terrain is by no means friendly, yet it is abundant with various materials needed for ascension.
Irises are a type of flower in Wuthering Waves that is used for the Ascension of characters such as Calcharo and Taoqi. They are in limited supply and reset every 48 hours, but that doesn’t mean they’re easy to find. An issue that many players have run into is the term ‘Heron Wetland,’ where Iris flowers are supposedly located.

Where Is Heron Wetland Located In Wuthering Waves?
After some much-needed research, it’s safe to say that ‘Heron Wetland’ doesn’t really exist in Wuthering Waves word for word. As the game is in its beginner stages, it seems that some regions and locations underwent some name changes since the closed beta. Another potential reason could be a translation error as the term Heron Wetland is included in the description for a reason.
Unfortunately, the location marker isn’t available like it is for Shifang Pharmacy. As such, players are left to merely ‘guess’ where to find it. Since the term doesn’t exist on the map right now, it can only be theorized that this area is actually either an upcoming location or a new method of obtaining the material that could be available in the future.
However, as of right now, many players have decided that Heron Wetland is simply a mistranslation of the location Whining Aix’s Mire. The interactive map showcases this to be the case, and since the developers have yet to comment or make any changes, players are referring to the term as such.

Taoqi may lack personal DPS, but she offers a rock solid defense that can help anyone survive heavy hits in Wuthering Waves.
Where To Find Iris In Wuthering Waves
Since Iris is the topic of interest, the best place to start is Shifang Pharmacy. If you have enough money to spend, make sure to buy some Iris every week when the shop resets. The rest of the Iris can be found in Whining Aix’s Mire. Right now, Irises are native to that region only, and the best route would be:
Waving Battlefield → Plateau Ruins → Lollo Warehouse → Fallen Grave (Inside the Sandstorm) → (Past) Court of Savantae Ruins
Players will need to keep in mind that Whining Aix’s Mire is locked behind an Exploration Quest called Stygian Lacrimosa, and only after completing it will they gain access to this region.
