WWE 2K22 comes out in just a few weeks and developer Visual Concepts has spent the last several months revealing all sorts of information about the game. Fans now have a much better idea about the roster of superstars and their ratings in WWE 2K22.
2K Sports had recently revealed the ratings for the women’s division in WWE 2K22. Becky Lynch sits at the top of this list with a rating of 92, while Bayley and Sasha Banks both are 88 rated. WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus also has a rating of 88, with Charlotte Flair and Asuka both being 90 rated. Now, 2K Sports has uploaded a new video featuring 4 more superstars from WWE 2K22’s roster.
The short 25-second video shows 4 athletes from the SmackDown brand. It confirms that Cesaro, Humberto Carrillo, Sami Zayn, and Drew Gulak will all be a part of WWE 2K22’s roster. The trailer gives a small glimpse of each superstar’s entrance and shows them performing a move in the ring. It also reveals their ratings in WWE 2K22.
The ratings for these SmackDown superstars are:
- Cesaro – 84
- Humberto Carrillo – 77
- Sami Zayn – 80
- Drew Gulak – 79
Fans in the comments are making fun of the 2K Sports’ piecemeal approach to the roster reveal. While their inclusion in WWE 2K22’s roster was perhaps predicted, it’s still great to see how all 4 look in-game. The video is way too short to get a detailed look, but it gives a good first impression. As the game comes out in less than 3 weeks, fans perhaps want 2K Sports to fully reveal everything in one go.
Some users may think that these ratings are a bit too low. However, these numbers are not too absurd when considering the ratings of superstars like Goldberg and Randy Orton in WWE 2K22. The two highest-rated superstars in the game are the current champions Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns, with a rating of 94 and 95 respectively.
WWE 2K22 is shaping up to be a massive improvement over the controversial WWE 2K20. Visual Concepts had recently released a full match between Damian Priest and Rey Mysterio, and this probably shows that the developer is confident in the game. It looks like 2K Sports is listening to community feedback more than ever before, as WWE 2K22 also comes with MyGM mode, which was near the top of fans’ requests for many years.
WWE 2K22 launches March 11 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
