The upcoming WCW DLC Pack for WWE 2K24 now includes the classic WCW Fall Brawl WarGames arena. WWE 2K24 has released four DLC packs so far, available for individual purchase or as part of the season pass.
Past WWE 2K24 DLC packs have added new and classic wrestlers to the roster, with the fifth and final DLC pack, releasing on November 13, set to focus on WCW legends. Come November 13, the WCW Pack for WWE 2K24 will give players the chance to play as Diamond Dallas Page, The Iron Sheik, Mr. Perfect, The Great Muta, and Lex Luger. Additionally, WWE 2K24 players can look forward to more MyFACTION Superstar Cards. Now yet another bonus has been confirmed for the WWE 2K24 WCW Pack when it goes live on November 13.
WWE 2K24 Leak Could Be Good News For CM Punk Fans
An interesting WWE 2K24 leak found within the latest patch brings good news to fans of the Straight-Edge Superstar CM Punk.
As announced by 2K, WWE 2K24 WCW Pack owners will also get access to the classic Fall Brawl WarGames arena. This old-school arena includes the classic blue and yellow ring with players having the option to fight in single-ring matches or double-ring WarGames fights. WarGames has proven to be one of the most popular new match type additions since it was introduced in WWE 2K23, and it's great that its options are expanding in WWE 2K24.
WWE 2K24 Adding Classic WCW Arena
When the WCW Pack is released on November 14, WWE 2K24 will have fulfilled its season pass promises. While fans will continue playing WWE 2K24 for the foreseeable future, many are going to be turning their attention to WWE 2K25. Assuming all is going as planned with the game, WWE fans can expect WWE 2K25 to be revealed in January or February and then released in March of next year.
Unfortunately, the release of WWE 2K25 will put WWE 2K24's online functionality on life support. 2K has not wasted any time shutting down the online services for WWE 2K games in recent years. WWE 2K22 servers were shuttered not even two years after its release. And while WWE 2K23 online services were scheduled to end in September, plans to shut it down have been pushed back to January 6, 2025.
Unfortunately, WWE 2K24 will almost certainly suffer a similar fate as its predecessors. The server shutdowns often coincide with DLC being delisted, so anyone interested in the WWE 2K24 DLC should be sure to snag it while they still can, especially if they are old-school WCW fans.
