- Antstream Arcade expanding library on Xbox with 14 new games for $30/year membership.
- Service offers global tournaments, mini-challenges, and couch co-op for retro gaming fans.
- Vision feature launching beta phase, promising new game modes and competition opportunities.
Antstream Arcade, which allows Xbox users to stream a massive library of classic games, is adding a bunch of new titles this month, including Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. A one-year membership for the Xbox cloud-streaming service is available to purchase on the Microsoft store for $30.
Antstream Arcade first launched on Xbox back in July and gave subscribers immediate access to over 1,300 classic games from the Atari, NES, Sega Genesis, Game Boy, and more. Since then, it has periodically added new titles and allowed members to participate in over 600 mini-game challenges, with new ones being added every month. Antstream Arcade also supports global weekly tournaments and couch co-op. These features have led the service to be a substantial hit among retro gaming fans, who have more additions to look forward to this month.
Antstream Arcade confirmed 14 new games for March, most of which are already available to play. These games include Bristles, Streak Hoverboard Racing, Hobgoblin, Demons of Astaborg, and First Samurai. To play Antstream Arcade's massive library of titles, Xbox users can purchase the previously mentioned one-year subscription for $30 or a lifetime subscription for $80. In addition to Xbox, Antstream is supported on Windows, macOS, and Android, and one subscription works across multiple devices. Antstream also confirmed that a new feature, Vision, is nearing its closed beta phase. Vision will introduce new game modes and ways to compete. Interested users can apply for the first stage of Vision's beta on the home page of Antstream's website.

It is unclear whether this month's additions will be able to crack the rankings of Antstream Arcade's best games. It's a steep hill to climb, seeing that Antstream's library includes the likes of Mortal Kombat, Metal Slug, Pac-Man, and many more popular, classic titles.
Xbox users can even play PlayStation 1 games through Antstream Arcade, like Glover, Worms, and Loaded. However, Antstream sometimes loses games due to licensing deals falling through, so new subscribers should try to play their favorite games first to avoid the unlikely scenario that one of them is dropped from the service.
Back in December, Antstream Arcade added another new set of games, this one including classics from Bandai Namco like Galaga, Rally-X, Dig Dug, and various Pac-Man titles. It seems quite likely that Antstream's current library of 1,333 games will continue to expand in the future as it gains access to more licenses.
