Summary

  • Xbox kicks off two major sales, available until March 3.
  • The "Game Pass Franchise Hits" offers big discounts for those subscribed to the service.
  • Those not subscribed to Game Pass can take advantage of Xbox's "Hits You Can't Miss" sale, with massive discounts on numerous AAA titles.

Xbox is ending February with two massive game sales for players to check out, featuring huge discounts on a plethora of AAA titles, including Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, and many more. According to the Xbox store page, both of the respective sales are live until March 3, so gamers will need to act fast if they want to take advantage of these epic deals.

One of the two new sales is specifically for users subscribed to Microsoft's lucrative Xbox Game Pass service, which not only gives gamers access to some hefty discounts but also allows fans to discover plenty of new games thanks to its massive catalog of titles. Xbox Game Pass is broken down into multiple different tiers, with the lowest being Xbox Game Pass Core. This tier allows subscribers to access online multiplayer games, unlocks additional discounts on games, and comes with a catalog of 25 games at no extra cost. On the other hand, the service's Ultimate tier comes with all that and more, including access to the entire Game Pass library, a membership to EA Play, and the ability to jump into some day-one releases.

Xbox Fans Want Underrated Xbox One Feature to Make a Comeback

Xbox fans reminisce over a highly useful Xbox One feature that was removed several years ago, and want it to return on the Series X/S.

For Xbox Game Pass subscribers, a new "Game Pass Franchise Hits" sale is now live until March 3, offering massive discounts on the likes of Red Dead Redemption 2, Grand Theft Auto Online, RoboCop: Rogue City, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and many more. But for those not subscribed to Game Pass, the brand-new "Hits You Can't Miss" sale is also live until the same date. This lucrative sale is once again offering some big discounts on plenty of AAA titles, including Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, EA Sports FC 25, Death Stranding, and many more. Both sales can be accessed right now via the Xbox store directly on the console.

Xbox 'Hits You Can't Miss' Sale Highlights

  • Death Stranding Director's Cut - $19.99 (50%)
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Vault Edition - $74.99 (25%)
  • Indiana Jones and the Great Circle - $55.99 (20%)
  • Dragon Age: The Veilguard - $41.99 (40%)
  • EA Sports FC 25 - $27.99 (60%)
  • Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Gold Edition - $31.34 (67%)
  • Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Digital Deluxe Edition - $9.99 (90%)

The latest Xbox game sale is excellent for those holding out on some massive AAA titles, such as the recently released Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. For a title that is less than three months old, a 20% discount is incredibly generous. The same can also be said for the exceptionally reviewed Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Although players will need to purchase the Vault Edition, which comes with plenty of additional cosmetic items, 25% off brings this four-month-old title down from its usual price of $99.99 to just $74.99.

For anyone looking to pick up some new games on Xbox's rival console, the PlayStation Extended Play sale also kicked off last week, with some massive discounts available until March 6. Various Assassin's Creed titles can be picked up between 75% and 85% off, depending on the specific game, while some big first-party titles like Marvel's Spider-Man: Game of the Year Edition are also available for 50% off. So, whether it's Xbox, PlayStation, or both, gamers have some massive discounts to take advantage of over the next few days.
