There are at least eight more games coming to the Xbox Game Pass subscription service as part of the April 2025 lineup. Some games have been added to Xbox Game Pass in April 2025 already, with Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition added across all tiers except Core and the Standard tier of Game Pass getting to check out All You Need is Help, Still Wakes the Deep, and Wargroove 2.
Most of the games coming to Xbox Game Pass in the rest of April 2025 will be exclusive to those who are signed up for the Ultimate tier or PC Game Pass. This is because of significant Game Pass changes Microsoft made last year, relegating most day one releases to Ultimate and PC Game Pass, with Standard tier subscribers having to wait longer to get their hands on the games.
Xbox Game Pass Mobile App Has Shut Down
The standalone Xbox Game Pass mobile app is officially offline, with all of its functionality carried over to the main Xbox app.
In any case, there are at least eight more games joining Xbox Game Pass in the first half of April 2025. DIablo 3: Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Edition is coming to Game Pass on April 8, alongside day one game South of Midnight. Commandos: Origins will be joining Game Pass on April 9, followed by Blue Prince on April 10. Then, Grand Theft Auto 5 will be coming to Game Pass on April 15 with Hunt Showdown 1896 joining the PC tier that same day. Thanks to previous release date announcements, we also know two games joining Game Pass in the second half of April 2025, with Tempopo coming on April 17 and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 on deck for April 24.

Needless to say, these next few weeks are going to be super busy for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Out of the day one games coming soon, the ones subscribers may want to prioritize are Blue Prince, which has been hailed as a potential Game of the Year contender by ex-PlayStation exec Shuhei Yoshida, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, a new turn-based RPG that has looked incredibly impressive.
Of course, Game Pass subscribers may also want to play Grand Theft Auto 5 while it's on Xbox Game Pass. Grand Theft Auto 5 is one of the highest-rated games ever made, and it never stays on Game Pass as long as other games, so subscribers should be sure to play it as much as they can.
