The ID@Xbox Fall 2025 Showcase unveiled 9 new day one games coming to Xbox Game Pass, ranging from multiplayer sandbox games and strategy defense titles to a cult classic horror game sequel. Players who are subscribed to Xbox Game Pass have enjoyed a number of monthly new additions to the service and can now get a sneak peek at some of the latest titles set to launch day one on Game Pass.

Among the 9 new day one games revealed for Xbox Game Pass are Darkwood II, a sequel to the indie hit Darkwood, the adorable dungeon battler Awaysis, and the cozy multiplayer snowy sandbox title, Sledding Game. All three are promoted as "Coming Soon," so interested players will want to keep an eye out for any updates on their official release dates. For games with confirmed launch times, fans can look forward to the hilariously challenging Egging On, a hilariously challenging platforming game starring an egg, Routine, an FPS survival horror sci-fi game coming to Xbox Game Pass on December 4, and the tower defense game Dome Keeper on December 9.

Additional 2026 day one Xbox Game Pass launches include Planet of Lana II, a sequel to one of the highest-rated indie puzzle platforming adventure games of 2023, the action-adventure sci-fi adventure Aphelion, and Monsters are Coming! Rock & Road, a tower survivor rouge-lite with bullet hell combat. The sheer variety of day one games set to debut on Xbox Game Pass remains a key selling point for the subscription service, and fans are already celebrating the different announcements from the ID@Xbox Fall 2025 Showcase.
