Eight games are looking to cycle out of Xbox Game Pass later this month on June 15. While first-party Xbox games stay in the service forever, it's standard procedure for third-party games, especially indies, to make their way out of Xbox Game Pass at some point.

Some subscribers have been saying that 2025 is already the best year of Xbox Game Pass ever since the service's launch in 2017. First-party Xbox games like South of Midnight, Avowed, Doom: The Dark Ages, and The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered have flooded the service as permanent additions, while massive third-party GOTY-caliber hits like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Blue Prince also launched day and date into the Game Pass. That's not to mention some of the older titles that have made a big splash recently as well, like one of 2024's very best games, Metaphor: ReFantazio, the latest RPG from Persona studio Atlus.

Xbox Game Pass Adds Hit 2019 Game That Just Received New DLC

The 14th new title to reach the Xbox Game Pass content catalog in May 2025 is a hit 2019 game that just received a new DLC pack.

While there's been a parade of hit after hit joining the Xbox Game Pass ranks in recent months, there are still some titles that must soon find the exit and end their time in the subscription service, at least for now. On June 15, Game Pass subscribers will no longer be able to access eight of the service's smaller indie offerings, including Depersonalization, Dordogne, Hypnospace Outlaw, Isonzo, Keplerth, My Time at Sandrock and its online counterpart, and Rolling Hills: Make Sushi, Make Friends.

Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass on June 15

  • Depersonalization
  • Dordogne
  • Hypnospace Outlaw
  • Isonzo
  • Keplerth
  • My Time at Sandrock
  • My Time at Sandrock Online
  • Rolling Hills: Make Sushi, Make Friends

Since all of these titles are smaller indie games, subscribers who wish to keep playing them after they leave Game Pass on June 15 likely won't need to shell out too much cash in order to purchase them outright and retain access. However, fans of these titles should act quicker, as these games are discounted by 20% while they're still in Game Pass; once they leave, so too do their discounts. Perhaps the most recognizable title on this list of leavers is My Time at Sandrock, the 2023 follow-up to My Time at Portia. The game scored an 80 on Metacritic and launched alongside its online counterpart, which helped it become one of the more popular cozy farming simulator games on Game Pass.

On the bright side, Xbox Game Pass isn't slowing down any time soon. June alone will see Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine - Master Crafted Edition, Lost in Random: The Eternal Die, The Alters, Rematch, and Remedy Entertainment's co-op FPS FBC Firebreak all added to the service on day one. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 and Wuchang: Fallen Feathers arrive in July, and Gears of War: Reloaded will come in August. More heavy hitters like Obsidian Entertainment's second major 2025 RPG, The Outer Worlds 2, and Ninja Gaiden 4 are still awaiting dates. There will surely be more big Game Pass news this upcoming Sunday when Xbox's annual showcase goes live as part of Summer Game Fest.
