Microsoft has recently confirmed that eight titles will be added to Xbox Game Pass during the second half of July 2025. These upcoming Xbox Game Pass titles have a good amount of variety, and include some eagerly awaited day one additions.
Xbox Game Pass launched in June 2017 and has since become one of the most popular subscription services in the gaming industry. Earlier in 2025, Xbox Game Pass added some incredibly popular titles, such as Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, Doom: The Dark Ages, Avowed, and others. One of the latest additions to Game Pass was Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, which received rave reviews and currently holds an average score of 83 on OpenCritic.
Call of Duty: WW2 is Doing Very Well on Xbox Game Pass
Despite recent controversies, Call of Duty: WW2 reaches a milestone on Game Pass that's quite impressive for an eight-year-old game.
Now, Microsoft has confirmed eight games that will be added to the popular subscription service from July 17 to August 1, following the release of High on Life on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC, and Standard tiers. On July 17, RoboCop: Rogue City and My Friendly Neighborhood will come to the service, with the first one also being added to Game Pass Standard. Wave 2 continues with the prison escape RPG Back to the Dawn on July 18 and the survival crafting game Abiotic Factor on July 22. The month will also have some day-one releases, such as Wheel World on July 23, and Wuchang: Fallen Feathers on July 24. Finally, the month will end with the early access release of Obsidian Entertainment’s Grounded 2 on July 29. Additionally, Farming Simulator 25 is the first game confirmed to reach the service on August 1.

One of the highlights of Wave 2 is Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, a soulslike action RPG set in the final days of the Ming Dynasty, which is being eagerly anticipated by subscribers. Despite being available only in early access, Grounded 2 coming to Game Pass is also a neat addition for fans, considering how well-received the first entry in the franchise has been.
Before this announcement, August 2025 only had two Xbox Game Pass titles confirmed: Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 Enhanced on August 12, and Gears of War: Reloaded on August 26. It’s likely that even more exciting additions will be confirmed when the first wave of Game Pass releases for August is announced, though, and hopefully, the month will be as exciting for subscribers as July has been. Later in the year, subscribers can also play titles such as Ninja Gaiden 4 and The Outer Worlds 2.
