Microsoft has unveiled the second-half lineup of Xbox Game Pass games for March 2025, including two day-one releases. Xbox's subscription service got off to a slow start at the beginning of the month, announcing just a handful of upcoming releases for Wave 1, two of which wouldn't become unavailable until the second half of March. Now that Wave 2 is here, things are looking up for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
The company had previously announced that 33 Immortals and Atomfall were coming to Xbox Game Pass as day-one releases on March 18 and 27, respectively. It's been a big year for day-one availability on the platform, as the much-hyped Avowed was available on its first day just last month. Microsoft isn't stopping there, though, with Game Pass subscribers of all tiers getting an impressive lineup of older games to play in the second half of March as well.
The Best Games On Xbox Game Pass (January 2026)
Xbox Game Pass is unquestionably worth the subscription fee, but which of the available games are the best use of your hard drive space?
Xbox revealed the Wave 2 lineup for March 2025 on Tuesday, March 18, just in time for 33 Immortals to become available. The biggest headline is the previously announced alternate history survival shooter Atomfall for Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. Early looks at the game have drawn comparisons between Atomfall and the Fallout series, so the game could be a great way to fill the Fallout 5-shaped hole in some gamers' hearts. JRPG fans have something to look forward to, too, with Octopath Traveler 2 hitting the platform on March 19.
All Wave 2 Xbox Game Pass Games for March 2025
- 33 Immortals, available March 18
- Octopath Traveler 2, available March 19
- Train Sim World 5, available March 19
- Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island, available March 20
- Blizzard Arcade Collection, available March 25
- Atomfall, available March 27
In addition to these upcoming titles, Xbox Game Pass is expanding its lineup for Core subscribers. On March 26, users on the cheapest Game Pass tier will get access to Tunic, Batman: Arkham Knight, and Monster Sanctuary. All three of these games were already available for Standard and Ultimate subscribers, but not on the more budget-friendly option until now. The indie darling Tunic is one of the best Xbox games for Zelda fans, so this is great news for Xbox Game Pass Core subscribers who've been looking to scratch a Nintendo itch.
Xbox Game Pass gives, and Xbox Game Pass takes away, so there are some titles leaving the service as well. Four Yakuza games will say goodbye on March 31, following the two Yakuza titles that left earlier in March, as will Monster Hunter Rise and MLB The Show 24. Rounding out the list of titles leaving Xbox Game Pass are Lil Gator Game, Hot Wheels Unleashed 2, Open Roads, and The Lamplighter’s League.
