Football Manager 26 and 1000xResist have been added to the PC and Ultimate tiers of Xbox Game Pass. The day-one releases are the service’s first additions for November, bringing the total number of new Xbox Game Pass titles in 2025 to 191.
Developed by Sunset Visitor, 1000xResist is one of the highest-rated games of 2024, boasting an average score of 89 and a 100% recommendation rate on OpenCritic. It’s an adventure game that casts players as a clone in a near-future world where aliens have wiped out most of humanity using a weaponized pandemic. The game explores themes such as cultural identity and generational trauma from the perspective of the Hong Kong diaspora, telling its story through non-linear dialogue and memory sequences. Its non-linear narrative and thematic focus make for a compellingly distinctive experience that has resonated with reviewers and audiences alike.

FM26 and 1000xResist Join Xbox Game Pass
1000xResist is available on Xbox Game Pass as of today, November 4, having joined the service alongside Football Manager 26. Sports Interactive's Football Manager titles have consistently received day-one XGP releases since 2018, but last year's entry was delayed and ultimately canceled in February 2025 due to setbacks tied to the developer transitioning the series from an in-house engine to Unity. As a result, Football Manager 24 remained on Xbox Game Pass for a full year longer than originally planned. Now that its successor is here, the game is scheduled to leave on November 15.
Sports Interactive has long been extremely supportive and complimentary of Xbox Game Pass—much like its parent company, Sega—making the day-one arrival of FM26 fully in line with its track record. The Football Manager franchise is now expected to return to its regular annual release cadence, meaning FM26 is likely to stay on Game Pass for one year.
1000xResist and FM26 Coming to Xbox Game Pass Premium in 2026
Though 1000xResist was originally released for PC in mid-2024, it is still categorized as a day-one release on account of its Xbox Series X/S version being new. As such, it is only accessible to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers, same as Football Manager 26. Based on Microsoft's past release patterns and recent statements, 1000xResist and FM26 will reach the Premium tier of Xbox Game Pass between May and November 2026.

Eight more titles are currently confirmed to be coming to Xbox Game Pass before the end of the year, with even more being expected to be announced in the weeks ahead. Beyond that, the service presently has 25 confirmed day-one titles that are still awaiting release dates. Some, like Planet of Lana 2 and Aphelion, are tentatively targeting 2026, while others—such as Persona 4 Revival—have yet to even commit to a release year, let alone a concrete date.
