Xbox Game Pass Adds Its 4th and 5th Day-One Games for November 2025

Whiskerwood and Egging On are now available on several Xbox Game Pass tiers. These are the fourth and fifth day-one titles to reach the subscription service in November, raising the number of 2025 Xbox Game Pass additions to 194.

Developed by Polish studio Egobounds, Egging On is a physics-based platformer starring an egg. Many of the game’s challenges stem from the inherently fragile relationship between eggs and gravity, requiring players to navigate a wide range of environments with precise platforming. Whiskerwood, meanwhile, is the latest title published by indie strategy specialist Hooded Horse. Developed by Japan-based Minakata Dynamics, it’s a city-building game set in a distinctive world where players manage a colony of mice living under the rule of tyrannical cats. Balancing the needs of the mice and the taxation demands of their feline overlords is necessary to survive, expand, and even thrive. The core gameplay loop hinges on complex simulations that wouldn't look out of place in something like RimWorld or Timberborn.

Whiskerwood and Egging On Now Available on 2 Xbox Game Pass Tiers

While they have little in common, Whiskerwood and Egging On have now been brought together by Xbox Game Pass, having reached the service on the same day. Since both are day-one releases, these November 6 additions are only available to PC- and Ultimate-tier subscribers. Whiskerwood's availability is even more restricted, on account of it being a PC-only title. The cat-and-mouse city builder may reach more platforms after its early access phase, which is currently planned to run for about a year, according to the game's Steam FAQ. Egging On and Whiskerwood are the fourth and fifth day-one titles to reach Microsoft's service in November 2025, arriving shortly after Football Manager 26, 1000xResist, and Dead Static Drive debuted on Xbox Game Pass.

Whiskerwood and Egging On Coming to Xbox Game Pass Premium in 2026

Whiskerwood and Egging On will most likely reach Xbox Game Pass Premium between May and November 2026. The upper limit of that window was set by Microsoft at the start of October, when it restructured Xbox Game Pass tiers, replacing the Standard tier with Premium and pledging to bring day-one titles from Ultimate to Premium within a year. The lower end of the estimate is based on the company's release patterns from the launch of Xbox Game Pass Standard in September 2024 to its October overhaul.

Xbox Game Pass Has Many More November Releases in Store

Another eight titles are currently confirmed to be coming to Xbox Game Pass during the remainder of November 2025. The upcoming batch includes Voidtrain, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, and Great God Grove. The month's headline release is Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, scheduled to materialize on November 14.

All Upcoming Xbox Game Pass Games With Confirmed Release Dates

The Wave 2 Xbox Game Pass lineup for the month will most likely be announced on November 18, based on Microsoft's typical communication cadence. Meanwhile, November 15 will see five games leave the subscription service, including Blacksmith Master, an early access title that was just added to Xbox Game Pass on August 19.
