Xbox Game Pass Update Adds Open World Co-Op Game With…

The latest Xbox Game Pass update has added Wobbly Life, an open world co-op game with "overwhelmingly positive" reviews, to the subscription service. Xbox Game Pass is updated on a near-constant basis, ensuring subscribers always have something new to play. Since Microsoft split Game Pass into different tiers, the vast majority of new games are relegated to PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate, so it's nice whenever a game is added to the Standard tier of Game Pass as well.

As of the latest update, Frostpunk 2 is now available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers on consoles, with the city-builder having first been available to PC Game Pass subscribers at the time of its original release last year. Xbox Game Pass Standard subscribers will get access to Frostpunk 2 at a later date, but in the meantime, they can check out the other game added in the latest update.

Wobbly Life is Now Live on Steam

Wobbly Life is now available to Game Pass subscribers across the Standard, PC, and Ultimate tiers. Wobbly Life is an open world physics sandbox that was first released in 2020. Wobbly Life supports split-screen and online co-op options, with players able to spend time together or go off on their own to complete missions, unlock new items, explore the game world, and more. There aren't many professional reviews for the game yet, but the Steam version of Wobbly Life has earned "Overwhelmingly Positive" reviews from users on the platform. Needless to say, anyone looking for an open world game to play should definitely consider giving Wobbly Life a go now that it's been added to Game Pass, especially if they want to play something in co-op.

I played Wobbly Life a few years ago and had quite a bit of fun with it. It being available to Game Pass subscribers of all tiers except Core is also great, as it means it will be available to the vast majority of people that are signed up for Microsoft's gaming subscription service.

Those looking for something different from what Wobbly Life brings to the table have plenty to look forward to in the near future. The Xbox Game Pass September 2025 Wave 2 lineup includes Hades on September 19, Endless Legend 2 on September 22, Sworn on September 23, Peppa Pig: World Adventures and Visions of Mana on September 25, and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light on September 30.
