Project TH is EVR Studio’s first AAA foray into the gaming world. Made up of various industry professionals in gaming, photography, and Hollywood-level VFX, the digital content development studio specializes in using state-of-the-art facial mapping and digital human scanning technology to create real-time interactive media and VR projects. This expertise will reveal itself in the game’s intricately detailed character models, who will be played by famous South Korean actors including Lee Hong-nae and Heo Sung-tae.
Equally intriguing as the technology behind the scenes is the game’s setting. Project TH takes place in a near-future unified Korea based on the world of Mudang by Korean webtoon creator Seog-Jung-hyun. The “TH” in the game’s title is an abbreviation for “Two-Hearts,” symbolizing the two separate halves of the newly joined but still politically and ideologically divided nation. Unfortunately for fans who can’t wait to dive into this mysterious and gritty world, no official release dates have been confirmed, although Project TH will be coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Until then, Xbox gamers can enjoy other notable upcoming Xbox Game Pass Day One releases including Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, all releasing before the end of 2024.
