Slocap’s highly anticipated sports game Rematch has been added to the Xbox Game Pass library as a day-one title. Xbox Game Pass is Microsoft’s subscription gaming service, similar to Sony’s PlayStation Plus, and offers many perks across multiple tiers for those who choose to join. These include the ability to enjoy online multiplayer and discounts and, for Standard tier and up, access to a rotating catalogue of hundreds of games. And PC and Ultimate tier subscribers also get the added benefit of playing some games right when they launch.
In June, a number of enticing games have been added to the Xbox Game Pass library, with plenty more to come before month’s end. Subscribers can now play Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition and its follow-up, both revamped versions of the award-winning originals. On June 13, Xbox Game Pass added 11 Big Studios’ The Alters, a sci-fi survival game that currently has rave reviews and a lot of new fans. And members got two day-one titles on June 17: FBC: Firebreak, set in Remedy’s Control universe, and Lost in Random: The Eternal Die, a standalone story in a roguelite wrapper.
The Best Games On Xbox Game Pass (January 2026)
Xbox Game Pass is unquestionably worth the subscription fee, but which of the available games are the best use of your hard drive space?
The next title being added to Xbox Game Pass is Rematch, which launched on June 19. Being touted as a cross between real-life soccer and Rocket League, Slocap’s Rematch offers a third-person experience for online competitive play. The developer has emphasized that there are no player stats to keep track of and that winning a match relies solely on skill, reaction speed, and coordination. And Slocap’s previous work on the hit action titles Sifu and Absolver has translated into a focus on “reactivity and precision, as well as conveying physicality and impact” in Rematch.

The sports game offers team-based online multiplayer with four different competitive modes—3v3, 4v4, 5v5, and ranked 5v5—and because the setting is a closed virtual reality arena, similar to Rocket League, there will be no fouls, no offsides, and therefore no pauses from the action. Additionally, Slocap has seasonal content planned for Rematch, which will periodically introduce cosmetics and new game modes.
Xbox Game Pass subscribers have more to look forward to in June as well. On the 24th, the service will add Volcano Princess, a simulator-style RPG released by Egg Hatcher in 2023. Two days after that, members will get a day-one console release, Eremite Games’ highly rated dark-fantasy city-builder Against the Storm. On June 26, subscribers will get a triple whammy with the addition of the remastered versions of all three Warcraft games on PC, and to round out the month, Call of Duty: WW2 will join the Xbox Game Pass lineup on June 30.
