PAW Patrol World is now available on Xbox Game Pass, having returned following an uncharacteristically brief absence. This is the fourth new title to reach the subscription service in September 2025, as well as the 112th new Xbox Game Pass release since the beginning of the year.
A Canadian preschool series created by Keith Chapman and produced by Spin Master, PAW Patrol took the world by storm since its 2013 debut. The rescue-dog-starring animated series airs internationally on Nickelodeon. The franchise has spawned multiple video game adaptations, with PAW Patrol World being the first to feature an open-world environment. Originally released in September 2023, PAW Patrol World joined Xbox Game Pass in March 2024 but was removed from the service a year later.

PAW Patrol World Returns to Xbox Game Pass After Only 6 Months
The beloved kid-friendly open-world adventure is once again available as part of Microsoft's subscription catalog as of Wednesday, September 10. While returning titles are common on the platform, PAW Patrol World left Xbox Game Pass only six and a half months ago, making its absence unusually brief. Its swift return suggests it was among the service’s most popular family-friendly games, prompting Microsoft to quickly re-license it.
PAW Patrol World was a hit with the youngest audiences, not least because it offers fully explorable open-world environments based on some of the most iconic locations from the animated show, including Adventure Bay, Barkingburg, and Jake's Mountain. Split-screen co-op multiplayer support is also part of the package, together with numerous collectibles, missions, and customization options. The overall experience was touted as one of the best kid-friendly titles on Xbox Game Pass during its first stint on the subscription service.
With PAW Patrol World's return out of the way, there's only one more title from the Wave 1 lineup for September 2025 that's yet to make its way to Xbox Game Pass. That would be RoadCraft, a disaster company management sim scheduled to debut next Tuesday, September 16. That's also the date when Microsoft is expected to announce the Wave 2 roster for this month. It's possible that the next lineup reveal will be a little light on content, as Microsoft is likely saving some Xbox Game Pass announcements for the Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2025 Broadcast, which was officially announced earlier this week and scheduled for September 25. Last year, the company's TGS event saw four titles shadow-dropped on Xbox Game Pass.
