Summary

  • Xbox Game Pass Ultimate has helped boost the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor player count by 570.4%, according to TrueAchievements.
  • Game Pass Ultimate subscribers get access to the entire EA Play library of games.
  • That means both Star Wars Jedi games are available for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to play right now.

It seems Xbox Game Pass has given a huge boost to Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was recently added to the EA Play library, meaning it is available to anyone that is signed up for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

For Xbox gamers to get the most out of their consoles, they really need to be signed up for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Not only does Xbox Game Pass Ultimate give subscribers all the games added to Game Pass, it also gives them all the benefits that were once associated with Xbox Live Gold, exclusive perks, and access to the EA Play library of games. It's unclear how many people are signed up for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate versus regular Game Pass, but it seems to be a sizable number if the recent Star Wars Jedi: Survivor player count boost is any indication.

According to data collected by TrueAchievements, it seems as though Star Wars Jedi: Survivor's player count is up by a whopping 570.4% since being added to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. It goes without saying that this is a truly massive increase. Clearly, a lot of players are jumping into Star Wars Jedi: Survivor for the first time since it's made its Game Pass Ultimate debut.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a Big Hit on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate

With Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, subscribers can now play both games in the Star Wars Jedi series without paying anything beyond their subscription fee. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has been available through Game Pass Ultimate for years now, and there has been no indication that it will be removed from the service at any point in the near future. It's true that EA has been known to pull its games from EA Play from time to time, but that mainly applies to multiplayer games or single-player games that have had licenses expire, or their online features shut down.

EA keeps a running list of games that it is deactivating, but since Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor are primarily single-player games, fans shouldn't have to worry about them losing any serious functionality or being removed from EA Play. Now, it's possible that EA Play will one day divorce from Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and become a separate entity again. If that happens, then Xbox gamers will have to sign up for EA Play to retain access to games Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, but it doesn't seem like that is going to happen any time soon.
