Xbox Game Pass Update Adds Big New Day One Game

Xbox Game Pass has recently added Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 to the Ultimate and PC tiers of its service. Developed by Iron Galaxy and published by Activision, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is one of the most exciting games to come to Xbox Game Pass in the last few weeks.

Every month, new titles are added and removed from Xbox Game Pass. Earlier in July, Xbox Game Pass added a few new games, such as Ultimate Chicken Horse, The Ascent, and Minami Lane. While the first two titles were added to all tiers of the popular service, Minami Lane was a day one console release only available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC.

Now, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 has been added to Xbox Game Pass in the Ultimate and PC tiers. THPS3+4 consists of a remake of the third and fourth Pro Skater games with improved graphics, controls, and even some major changes. While THPS3’s overall design has been mostly maintained in the remake, THPS4 faced the biggest changes, with free roaming removed from the game’s Career mode to put it more in line with the first three entries of the series. In any case, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 gained positive reviews, achieving an average critic score of 84 on OpenCritic, as most reviewers have praised the experience, despite some criticism about removing elements of the fourth entry.

Game Pass subscribers still have more games coming in July. High on Life will be added on July 15 and Wheel World on July 23, while the eagerly awaited Wuchang: Fallen Feathers will be out on July 24. At the end of the month, Obsidian Entertainment will also release the early access version of Grounded 2, which will be available on Game Pass on day one for gamers who want to test it.

While July seems exciting for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, August has been a more mysterious month. At the moment, Xbox Game Pass only has two games confirmed for August 2025: Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 Enhanced and Gears of War: Reloaded. These titles are essentially upgrades of existing Game Pass games. However, it’s quite likely that more games will be announced soon, as the popular subscription service adds about a dozen new titles nearly every month.
